***February 2021 Outland Spouse Sponsorship***

Good Morning! Feb 16 applicant, received AOR, SA and BIL in April. File transferred to VO and I received what I think is AOR2 in response to a email sent : "Your file has been received in Mexico and is in queue for review." (Not sure if this is AOR2). In ECAS I still only have 1st line saying file received Feb 16 and PA status still says "application Received". In GCKEY there is no update showing that they sent BIL "We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes"

Is this normal? It has been two months now and I would think that either ECAS or GCKEY would be updated? Thoughts on if I should do anything or sit tight?

yes its normal, it'll take some time, be patient

Hi there! Anyone else who submitted in Feb 2021 not have AOR or anything yet? I've called and they said they have it but has not been checked for completeness yet... My application was received on the 26th Feb, but somehow I can see it on ECAS and it just says "application received".... Anyone else in the same boat?

Feb 23 - Started Processing Sponsorship
Feb 24 - Acknowledged of Receipt (AOR)
Mar 18 - Biometrics Requested
Mar 19 - Medical Requested
Mar 19 - Biometrics Done
Mar 24 - Sponsor Approval Eligible
Mar 24 - Forwarded to Paris Visa Office
Apr 01 - Medical Done
Apr 02 - Started Processing Wife's PR
Apr 06 - Medical Passed
May19 - Interview requested at Bucharest VO
Jun 02 - At the interview in Bucharest VO, Interviewing Officer categorically announced "REJECTION" citing reasons of quick marriage of Convenience. They record the interview on the camera, maybe VO watched the Interview again & again so didn't issue any Refusal.
June 02 to June 17 Gearing up for the Appeal
Jun 17 - Received Pre-Arrival IMM 5801 came from Tunis VO, Tunisia (Making me confuse why not from Paris VO or Bucharest VO)
Jun 21 - Interview Completed, Background check "In Process", Application is "In Progress" as per GcKey status
Jun 22 - Received Passport Request

Our application changed from application recieved - In process close to two months ago, but today it went back to application recieved, this is very strange. May be transferred to different LVO now? Spouce from India and the latest we have on ECAS is "medical recieved".

Second AOR2 is an observed practice in Ottawa VO too.

Ideally, it means you should get DM/PPR very soon. IN a week or so.

I am aware of the normal AOR 2 process but may be I was not able to convey my question properly -

Application Receieved - 10 Feb 2021
AOR, SA , BIL and Medical Complete
ECAS Application status changed to " Application receieved"- 24th Mar 2021
ECAS Application status changed to "in process"-6 Apr 2021
ECAS changed to Application recieved again - 24 Jun 2021

I am not sure why has it turned back to application recieved, any thoughts or experience @armoured, may be you can help.
