Hang in tight. Hopefully, we should hear back from them before the new year holidays. Did you try ordering GCMS notes to see at what stage your application is? I ordered mine and it has been stuck on Criminality/background check since July 15th and also visa office changed from new Delhi to Ottawa office. I am not sure if this affects my application in any way. I am in touch with other people with similar timelines and a few of them have decisions made on their file. So it is only a matter of a couple of weeks for us I believe.Its been 107 days since meds passed,
43 days passed since AOR2 (25 Oct)
No updates.
288 days since application submitted. No updates, no clue when this is gonna end.
Meanwhile, people are getting TRV + PR approved. Wonder what wrong we have done not to get anything.
Absolutely frustrated and gutted. This ordeal is never ending.

I am a February applicant, and i passed my medical back in august and no updates since then. I sent a web form in November and i got a reply saying that my file is in the final review stage. I dont really know what that means but hopefully it means things will move fast.
I also applied for a visitor visa in November, and it was approved. My question is about travelling to canada as a visitor. Has anyone travelled as a visitor while having an application in process? what do I need to expect at the airport? Will I be interviewed?
Hoping that by the end of my visit i get my PR and wont need to travel again :/.

Yes same boat. we have been in security for 5 months now although notes say passed in October. MP has called several times with same answer... waiting on security.Can we raise web form request for PR application as well?

I am planning to apply trv for my husband.
No its not like that... they have been quiet for 6 months for me after medical ... but recently i got pre arrival and bIL because i did not pay while submitting application.... and interestingly i am recieving updates from Vienna because my file was in London VO ... inshaAllah hope you will also hear something because its end now
I am now in month 12 of the PR process. Security has been 7 months in process, everything else passed by July including pre-arrival letter. no interview required, additional docs given... I have no idea what to do anymore. MP called several times which did not help.
Just wait . I am also feb 2021 applicant... desparately waiting ... only the thing we can do is just wait and wait ... hopefully our files will be finalize soon
