anyone feb 2021 online applicant still waiting for Oath invite ?
Both online and paper (i am paper applicant) are still waiting for oath - unfortunately it depends on the office who is dealing with the application i noticed some are a lot more efficient/maybe less volume - Scarborough is a nightmare for processing time !

Good morning guys.

- the status of my test is Completed. Does this mean that it is validated? (I did not receive any email other than one right after completing the exam with my temporary score of 19/20)
-how do I know which office is processing my application?
-how long does it take in general between the test and oath ceremony?

Thanks for your help!!!!!
1 - Yes it should be validated. You don't get any email except the one you got right after you completed the test.
2 - Theoretically it is written in the letter of invitation to the test. Mine was London but the letter of the oath was coming from Niagara Falls
3 - Usually after 2-3 months after the test is completed (that is an average time)

I don't see mention of any office.
As a matter of fact, I submitted my application in French and chose to receive all communications in French.

So maybe my application is being processed by the Montreal office (but it could be processed by a Bilingual agent from any other office Lol)

It's in the email. For example the email they sent the invitation to the test was : IRCC.DNCitLONScheduling-ConvocationLONCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
you will notice after 'convocation' there is LON which means London Office. Other email should have other 'acronyms'.

Hi RJ2020, I am in the same situation, haven't taken the test but my background check was completed in Jan 2022. Hoping for a test invite sometime in the next few months, but as you mentioned it won't be before 2023 that we will be attending the oath ceremony. It is unfair that some applications were completed on time and the rest of them are just left in limbo.

Exactly. It seems we’ll not be citizen before 2023 even in best case scenario.

Just some observation from the spreadsheet ... it seems that
  1. Family application is faster than Single
  2. Single Online is faster than Single Paper

thoughts?
I think the fastest processing belongs to online single applications. Almost 90% of online single applicants have either passed the test or already been invited to the oath ceremony.

Oh I see. Mine says SCR. Does it mean Scarborough? I hope they're not too slow there lol
They are one of the slowest. I am scr as well and even contacting my MPP made no difference! Did my test back in October and still no Oath even after i emailed them 5 times to explain a personal emergency. Even before pandemic if you look for the scarborough processing office they would schedule people 2/3 months after the test unlike a lot of the other office because they are that busy and have high volume… still waiting for my oath, my MP told me to hang in there and there was nothing i could do but wait…

Either email the following : IRCC.DNCitSCRScheduling-ConvocationSCRCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca or through the webform - they will forward the processing office - they rarely reply though and i know for a fact they are backlogged until end of april for oath and fully booked - they have a mountain of accepted files like mine and many other they still need to schedule for oath… best of luck !
