Just saw an update on my application. It is closed finally! (Reason: We have approved your application to become a Canadian citizen. )
Just waiting for the certificate now.

It appears we had the oath on same day.

I sent an email to the Calgary office yesterday and they responded after some hours saying that my family's file is on queue waiting to be scheduled for oath of ceremony. The agent said they can't tell at this point the expected time for that to be done. That I will receive an email with the details once we are scheduled.

Interesting, I wrote to Vancouver Office. Their response is faster than IRCC Web Form. The reply seemed to be written by human, despite it provided no additional info lol. They just want me to be patient ....

Update : completed my Oath on 23 March 2022, file status is updated to close next day 24th March 2022

I am wondering who should I reach out to so that IRCC will send me a test invite. My AOR is from April 2021 and the last update was from Jan 2022 when the background check was completed, how long do I have to wait for the test invite? Other applicants from Feb 2021 are getting oath ceremony invites or already have gotten citizenship certificates and on the other hand, I am just waiting for IRCC to do something about my application. I am from Vancouver, and I am wondering if the Vancouver office staff is just sitting on their hands and staring out the windows from their offices at the Grouse Mountain instead of working on applications. This disparity of application processing is unfair and unjustifiable.

Unfortunately they are one of the slowest. Probably because of the backlog. Although the government promised to address the issue but not much changed so far.

So i sent email to IRCC.DNCitSCRScheduling-ConvocationSCRCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca , they replyed within 10 min stating that my inquiry has been forwarded to the responsible unit for their action.

next day i received the email from IRCC.DNSCRCitizenshipCeremony-CeremonieCitoyenneteSCRRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca on the same email chain stating that i have been scheduled for my Oath .

Note- when i sent email directly to IRCC.DNSCRCitizenshipCeremony-CeremonieCitoyenneteSCRRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca and they replyed that all ceremonies booked till april 31st
