Hi Guys,
I called CIC this morning since they sent me an email on Friday that eluded to the fact that I should have already gotten OAR ( I Didn't )
The agent told me that they are in the process of sending out my OAR and gave me my application number.
I checked the new system and it say, " they have received my application and began processing it April 26th, please update.

Hi @Jollyzee, can you check ECAS and check the AOR date? Also, the new tracker gives you more information about the progress of your application.

I checked in ECAS, is still says application received Feb 25th and nothing else.
In the new system, everything except test and ceremony says in process and the History says, they began processing on April 26th.

1888-242-2100, I left a call back number, they called back within an hour. They would ask question to verify identity including UCI number.

Hey guys. I just noticed that some people uploaded the stamped pages of their passports in their application. I submitted my online application on Feb and it was only requesting for the bio page of the passport not anything else though. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

As long as you submitted what was requested, you should be fine. AFAIK, only bio pages of the passport are needed when submitting a citizenship grant application. Some people submit extra documents despite not being asked for it.

Please note that submitting passport stamps with your application provides NO GUARANTEE that you'll not receive an interview invite later.

You are not required to submit stamped pages. You should submit what they ask you to submit, nothing more, nothing less.

Hello, in how many days does the status changes from in-progress to Background verification completed? Do they do it for all candidates or only for those who were away from Canada for 183 or more?

Mine shows Background verification in progress but I never left Canada for more than 183 days. Pls help.

everything else other than the citizenship test and ceremony is also in process on the new tracker.

There is no real answer here, everyone get their background verification checked.
