Hello Group Members.

Que Regarding Citizenship Test.

Me and Wife Completed Citizenship Test on 8th Oct.
My Result to update "Completed "on 10th Oct.
But Wife's Test Result still "In Progress" until today.
How long it will take to be completed ?
Is one have waiting much longer to get test results update?
Is this normal??

Received this email confirmation today. It took 2 months for them to confirm my mail.

Quick question to the group here as I couldn't find any answer to this by googling. When you do your ceremony and you cut your permanent residency card, can you travel outside Canada while you are waiting for your citizhenip certificate to arrive? Or do you have to wait until you have received that certificate before you can leave?

You need the Canadian passport to be able to return to Canada.

Test window Nov 5 to Nov 25

Only for old ecas. For the new system the equivalent seems to be when everything is complete, except Citizenship ceremony.

You need the Canadian passport to be able to return to Canada.

Language Skills: Completed (18th Oct)
Physical Presence: Completed (18th Oct)
Citizenship Test: 18th Sep Passed
Background Verification: Completed August 30th
Prohibitions: Completed (18th Oct)
Citizenship Ceremony: Not Started

Similar timeline for my wife except Physical presence, Language and prohibitions completed today 02nd Nov ! some progress on files ! PO- Niagara Falls

For me, everything shows completed (except ceremony) but ecas still doesn't show the decision made status. The current status there shows they sent me an invitation to take a test, not updates after that.

For me the old ecas shows that the AOR was sent on April 21. Nothing after that.
