Do you mind if I ask whether you needed to book a ticket for them to transfer? We tried to ask them to transfer and they refused point blank without a ticket

Can somebody please confirm or clarify, if I want to apply for an emergency passport for my wife as she will need to travel to the UK soon, can you do that for a new passport? She applied back in 10th of March and we still haven't heard anything, so now she needs to travel, she needs that...

I assume when you say 'claim' you mean a complaint? if that's the case then don't bother, I filed a couple of those and nothing, they never responded and they don't even look at it.

Agreed, we have a major trip planned for November to go to Europe anyway, so hopefully she should get it normally by then.

So if an MP request your file to be transferred to your local office, what happens then if and when the local office accepts the transfer? Do they just print it and call you to pick it up?

Anyone still waiting from March? My wife applied in person at service Canada 10th of March and still nothing, we even got the local MP involved and still nothing.

exactly what happened to my wife as well, called 1st of June and was told that the passport has gone to the printer and to call back in 10 days, she called 3 weeks later only told by a different agent that the passport was still 'processing' and he wasn't sure why the original agent told her it...
