I did call them on their toll free number and it was in the afternoon during office hours.

Any particular reason to call them in the morning instead?
Yes If you want to speak to someone you call in the morning. If you want to call everyday and get hung up on call in the afternoon.

Hey guys, when you filed your application last year. Some of you might have provided NOA (Notice of Assessment) for tax-year 2018 instead of 2019 as it was March and some of you might not have filed tax returns by then.

Did you later on submitted updated NOA for tax-year 2019 via webform?

I called CIC and my wife’s file still in sydney. (Applied feb 27). The agent said the physical file doesn’t go to VO. And said they are doing other checks still?the letter in October said the file will move to VO. Biometrics and medical are done.

Hey, any Feb applicants who have surpassed the estimated completion time on the progress bar, receive an updated message on their IRCC account?

You won't get a message, it is the estimated completion date PRE COVID, it never meant anything pre covid and it means nothing now. Don't count it to reflect your app in any way.

How long adter your transfer and aor2 did you get pre arrival?

If I applied Outland, and the time passed but it’s still being processed, and I have my visitor visa for Canada, if I visit my spouse in Canada and I get a message from immigration while I’m there saying my application was approved and asking for my passport/interview etc. can I do that in Canada once my visiting time of 6 months hasn’t been surpassed or do I have to go back to my country to do that and then come back to Canada again?

My progress bar disappeared after the time passed (feb 3rd), and reappeared today saying that it’s taking longer to process my application

You mean they actually adjusted the time? And it doesnt just represent the year?
It still says 100% but they added a note saying that the application is taking longer to process.
Also, above on the application status, they added that about 20% of applications are more complex to process.
