February 2020 Spousal sponsorship Outland

Hi folks,

We are bit confused, we received biometrics request on Sep 9th and received medical request today (Sep 18th). But we did not get any sponsorship approval (SA) letter.
We tried ecas with Sponsor's UCI for the first time, and under 'Sponsorship Application Status' it says 'Decision Made'. But we do not see any more details about the decision.

Does this mean we got Sponsorship Approval?
Does any one has similar updates?


PS: PA is in India & Application received on Feb 20th.

@Paul09 Hi, does the VO location gets stated in the SA approval letter itself? and how many days does it take to get the email after Decision Made on ECAS?

SA letter has not indication to VO location. But if u from Pak - u go to London, if u Indian, NDVO.

SA approval is letter is different from VO transfer letter. Just wait, there is no timeline and I didn't even received the VO transfer email and mail. I just called them and asked them to send it again. VO depends on your country too.

Mine was transferred to cpc-m Mississauga and PA my wife's country of residence is India.

oh yeah forgot, Indians can either go to NDVO or Mississauga. Pakistanis only LVO.

I guess they have stopped moving Indian applicant file to Mississauga.
Because i em Indian applicant and on 3rd September my file got moved to CPC Ottawa.

Exactly same here...Just got Medical request Sep 18th..but no updates on ecas...

Yeah that's a weird one eh...I guess in these Covid times, expect the unexpected.

Yep - my application was received Feb. 11th. No AOR1 yet.

Update.
Finaly Got the sponsorship approval (SA) , AOR and request for medical certificate sept18.
Hope you get yours soon too and this hell is over.

Hi, I am the sponsor and I have applied for Outland Spousal visa for my wife - India.
My timeline:
AOR1 - March 7, 2020
Biometrics - September 17, 2020
I haven't received medical request yet. Is it normal? Can we get the medical done without medical request to save time so that when we get the request we can submit medical document right away.
Please guide me. Thanks.

In india, where r u from?.. I am from kerala...Biometrics offices are open or not ?
