Hmmm
I’m so sorry to hear that. Was your MP able to give you any idea as to what’s going on? Have they said anything about whether your application is even in the system at all?

Though I haven’t looked at the tracker for November I’m assuming everyone else has at least gotten AOR1? They should be letting you know something! Especially if your application has somehow been misplaced or if for any reason you need to resubmit. I feel especially bad because like you said, it’s one thing to not know what’s going on if you’ve sent photocopies, another thing entirely if they’re originals.
Hmmmmm at a point in time I gave up, because I wrote to them each and every day, they keep telling me that application has been received but it's not in their system, can u imagine.

As already mentioned, her visa was refused in December 2019. So the biometrics are already on file. I think once provided, they're valid for 10 years.
HOw come that she has already a biometrics . She was refused right??
trv and spousal application are different... because when i got refuse for trv last 2018 i received a letter. If i was approved, next step is biometrics.. but yours was biometric first, before the rejection????

You will not receive a biometrics request if you are refused for trv. So how come that your wife has biometrics december 2019????

Biometrics request is a prerequisite for a background check. You submit biometrics, then the background check occurs and only after that you get a decision, which is either to grant a visa or to refuse one.

What's with so many question marks and the interrogatory tone? We're all helping each other here, so learn to be polite and frame your queries accordingly.
Although some good fellow has replied to your question, you for sure didn't deserve a response.

That sucks I’m November applicant did medical in March messaged them and they said my application is still in Sydney haven’t been transferred to my visa office yet so I guess I got stuck cuz of the pandemic sigh, your situation is very unfortunate I thought you received AOR1 long time ago
Yes dear I remember we were all on November applicants platform, I haven't received anything yet but am resubmitting another application, I hope they won't add me to the August applicants, hope, they will speed up my application a little bit for me, because I can't wait for another 12 months.

Hello Everyone,

Anyone in the group who’s KVO is CPC-Missisauga? Do you know if we can contact them?
My file was received on 11 Feb. and last update on my file was Medical Approved on March 15. It is currently showing status as Submitted On gc website.
Thanks.

Sigh I’m sorry you have to go through all that, the whole process is depressing

This is the generic reply I got from Sydney. There is no mention of which batch they are working on. This is hopeless. I dont expect them to start working on spousal apps before 2021. I have already started visit visa app for my partner.

“Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is still in process.

Due to the ongoing situation related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), some IRCC offices are currently operating with reduced or critical staff only.

We are working on processing applications as quickly as possible; however, processing times are affected and any disruption caused by COVID-19 is not reflected accurately on our website. We will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.“
