it is pointless to write to a web form, you will get a standard answer.

I said that it can`t help you;)
I received a reply to my web form request. It is, as expected I guess, a simple form letter saying "When an application is received by IRCC, it can take several weeks before the processing begins. There will be no record in the system until the processing has begun." and padded out a bit.

Hi Guyz,

M a PR who had applied for spousal Sponsorship and we been gifted with a girl.
Can someone shed some light on the next steps.
Thanks.

I have a feeling that once the Covid roadblock starts easing a bit, the files will move at a faster pace as the country is falling well behind it's Immigrant Intake Targets. High time to make substantial changes in the Family Reunification Programs.

I really hope so. I was so excited before this all hit because the files were being processed at record speed (SA for many in under 40 days). Hopefully it’ll be at least normal soon.

Anybody planning to apply TRV? Please let me know if anyone applying or already applied after this announcement.
we had applied for TRV after they said they will consider spouse's application but it got rejected (said TRV application is on hold for processing as it doesn't meet requirements for COVID). HOPE they will fast track PR application processing :(

Are you sure it got rejected? It is saying on hold for processing, I think they will start processing it after travel restrictions are lifted.

Don’t give up. Read my thread in the visitors section. Anyone applying or applied for TRV for immediate family members should read my thread. Good luck! https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...utcan-visa-offices.691295/page-3#post-8678323

CDNsoldier, Congrats for the TRV. I received my AOR for my outland sponsorship on feb 12th, 2020. I am January 2020 applicant. I applied for Visitor Visa on March 5th, 2020. Still no response, me and my wife we both have emailed them
multiple times inquiring about my TRV. They replied simply by saying it is in process but nothing more.
I applied to Singapore VO. Do you have any suggestion what should i do next?

Thanks! Are you sure your TRV VO is Singapore. Usually visas are processed in the same country as the TRV applicant. Did you contact the VO processing the TRV? Did you post all the link (twitter, Canada.ca, CBSA...) for the new 8 June announcements? If you already contacted the TRV VO. Your next step is to contact your local MP. Don’t call, you must email. Lots of details in chronological order. Good luck my friend!

Yes, For Bangladeshi applicants we have to go through Singapore Canadian Embassy. Ok i guess i will ask my wife to message local MP and see what can be done.
Thanks for your advice

Just wanted to ask, I am the principal applicant and I was denied of US tourist visa before, would it be a ground for rejection of spousal visa? I am answering IMM5669, and one of the question is about this. What if I am currently unemployed, would it also be a ground for spousal visa rejection?
