Hi All, today I was able to link my application to gc key but didnt receive any AOR1 email. The application shows application number and UCI number and application received date. So does this means AOR1?
I have been wondering about this, if it was possible to have information in GC Key before getting the AOR1.

I guess yes it is... it is the confirmation mail only that includes your file number.

Yes the status also shows that your application is in progress with the progress bar and everything. It has mentioned over there the Application Received date as well. So I am guessing it is AOR1.

What info did you use to link to your gckey? I still have not received aor1, but i see it in ecas but cannot link to gckey.

It is the information you know like PA details, DOB and passport details
While linking the application you should include the sponsor + PA + dependents for the number of applicants in this application.

Just put the family name information along with passport details and desired place to move etc. Make sure to put the name in capitals or small letters whichever way you had put while submitting the application because it is case sensitive.

Hi all, I sent my application (common law, outland) to Nova Scotia around 2 weeks ago and according to tracking it arrived last Wednesday. I still haven’t been able to link it to my CIC account however (I have a UCI from a previous work permit application). Is this normal? Is it because they haven’t looked at my application yet? If so, how will I know when they did and how long does it usually take for them to look at it for the first time?

thank you and sorry for all of the questions!

It's normal, has been quick recently but normal period in previous months was four to eight weeks, even if shorter times now, two weeks would be pretty fast. I believe most have found that they can see in ECAS/CIC account roughly at the same time that the AOR1 letter received (i.e. sometimes letter first, sometimes link visible first, but within short time of each other).

In short, no reason to worry, get used to waiting.

Hi all, I am little worried that I haven't received medical request since Feb 23 that my Bio was requested and completed.
Can someone please tell me if this is normal.

File reached sydney on 5 feb 2020 but not get AOR till 5 march. How many days more. please help.

File was transferred to Mississauga on Feb 28, now ECAS went from "In Process" to "Application Received." I've heard Mississauga doesn't always send email for AOR2, should "Application Received" count as AOR2?
