I gave my online test today and boy was that difficult. Anyone who is writing test, please prepare from latest resources. I came across questions which were never part of my prep. Thankfully, I cleared them based on my past knowledge and some educated guesses.
May be you didnt read the Discover Canada book much?
There is no latest resource than this, right?

Discover Canada won't have current information such as info about local MPs and Members of legislative assembly.
You don't need to be updated with latest MP and number of members.
all questions are from discovery canada book. and it mentioned itself in book that read the book only any knowledge outside the book is on you your own risk.

Exactly. It would seem silly and a bit pointless for them to send that in the first place if it wasn't that relevant

Got Online Citizenship Test invitation and passed the test. I read Discover Canada study guide.
Just wondering about the Fingerprint request. I didn't get it.

I'm hoping there won't be any interview request. It'd be nice to get Decision in a month and Oath ceremony in about 2 months !

P.S: I've already updated Google docs spreadsheet.

But I don't think current affairs would be included in the test. Maybe someone who has taken the test could clarify, rather than me and you just guessing
Everything is from the book. From pages 34 and 35 of the book, it can be inferred that you should know the current MP, PM, governor-general, etc. The names are not mentioned in the book itself but can be easily found on the internet. After reading the book, online tests can help in memorizing the book. In any case, the only reference is the Discover Canada book.

Sorry to hear you are in the same boat as me, and hope we can give the exam from India. Are you not planning to get back through the US or something?
Was thinking about going through the US, but its no longer possible since US closed doors for non US citizens. The only to way to reach Canada before May 24th is to take visa and travel to another country, take RT-PCR test, stay there until the results are available and then fly to Canada. The risk involved is too high and hence its also not an option.

Hence it seems the only remaining option is to request to postpone the test to late June or July and book a flexible ticket to Canada for some day after May 24th and hope that Canada does not extend the restrictions beyond 30 days.
For me, the last date for requesting IRCC for rescheduling the test date is June 1st (30 days from the test start date).

I took the test last Monday, no questions about current legislative members etc, it was actually very easy.. I know the book says you should know them, but tbh i haven't seen anyone who took the test say that question was asked. but thats just my opinion..

Any hints ?? Aren't the questions coming from the book itself?
