Got a response from them in the webform today. looks like my exam was complete successfully March 30th, but the fingerprint results have not arrived at the Vancouver office. I guess thats why there have been no updates until they can confirm everything pending?

Do you mind sharing how long after AOR you got fingerprints request?

I see many people received their Fingerprint request, does submitting Fingerprints is mandatory step for Citizenship, or they select random applicants and ask for FP submission ?

They select only some. Whether random or not, no idea.

I thought that it depends on the biometric validity. If that's valid, you may not get a fingerprint request, not sure though. Can someone confirm?

Obviously for those who never gave or had very old or invalid ones, you can expect they would request. But I don't think that's the full story, seems they may indeed do some random at least. There seem to be more requests than that.

This may be an audit type thing, where they sample some to make sure no fraud from before.

Sure my timeline is as follows:
Applied: Feb 17th
AOR: March 4th
Exam request: March 11
Exam taken: March 30th
Fingerprints request: April 2nd
Fingerprints given: April 4th

No updates on the tracker since the FP request on April second. Submitted a webform this Monday and got an answer on Tuesday confirming Exam had been completed successfully March 30th, but FP were not on file yet. I did speak to a rep at the RCMP today who confirmed FP were received and results were sent via Canada Post to Vancouver. So it seems everything is stuck in Vancouver office for processing.
