Hi Guys, i just did the online test a few mins ago, and I passed 20/20!!!!

couldn't have done it without the practice tests from the link below

When taking the online test, does the system that is used for the test, check your IP address or something to see if you are in Canada?

Whether it tracks or not, it doesnt matter since the instruction is to complete the test while being inside Canada. They are just keeping the same rules which was there during pre-pandemic.
Its not worth the risk at the end in taking small shortcuts that might cost the whole citizenship later.

Its wroth the risk of delaying the test till you get back to the country rather than risking whole 5 years of hardwork.

Yep. I understand that. I do still feel that regardless of if they want to keep it as the same rules pre-pandemic, peoples personal situations aren't being considered. Was just curious if anyone was in a similar situation where they actually allowed them to take an online test outside of Canada. Say if someone wasn't able to get back to Canada for a very long period of time, how long would they even be able to delay it for?

ya but we never saw anyone posted on being allowed to attend outside.
For this covid period they would have allowed test and interview(even if they want to keep the oath inside canada). Seems no one requested/attempted to get permission. May be you can give it a try and post here.

Not received it yet but when it eventually comes I will see what I can do. I just find it hard to believe out of thousands of people who are waiting in limbo for this, that I am one of the few who aren't currently in Canada

I understand. Even i am outside. Covid reality of life is increasingly painful in may ways in day-to-day life and on top of it, the cic is not even processing applications for most and delaying which increases the main risk of meeting residency obligation till oath.

Dealing with cic has become the measurement of luck, not good.

Yes windsor office is more of frozen.

actually i saw an officer vacancy this month for Windsor office seems like they are too less on staff and this is since the begining of time Windsor is extra extra slow
