I don't qualify for any of the above age qualifications
Then it might be system glitch, it happened with some one else as well few months ago, and was corrected after.
No one can explain your situation atm.

Regardless, it's GREAT news!! Congrats!!. Have you not received anything in the mail or email at all? Did you call their office? Obviously now it's oath ceremony time.
Thanks. No communication from IRCC via any medium after the 'In Process' state. I just saw the status today morning. Today is office is closed. So I would have to wait till tomorrow to reach them. I am worried if there is any chance for rejection. I am not even asked to submit additional documentation or anything.

call IRCC to confirm why this update happened for your application cause it is only done after your Test is done and you are ready for oath

Do we get an email/notification with the test invite or do I need to keep checking my applicaiton status?

Congratulations! I would like to know how did you receive the invitation letter and test invite?by mail or email? What is the status of the application when you got the invitation test ?Is it "Inprocess or DecisionMade"?
Thanks. I've got invitation letter by email. After passed the online test, there's no status changed yet. Still in process... The next step is interview. After they will be make a decision. Maybe next month??

Of course they read everything. They return documents for missing check box, so they look at every small detail.
I don't know how they keep track of people's workplace. Maybe they keep track in the system or something.
It is possible that people even die during the process, however sadly it sounds, not only change jobs. But did you know they freeze data in application when they receive? Example: you are 35 y.o and you get max points for age for immigration. Even if process takes many years and you get old, you are still considered 35 and get max points.

And lastly there is a communication from CIC, although not explicitly for citizenship.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...vices/application/check-processing-times.html

Check processing times
Due to the impacts of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), we can’t
  • process applications normally
  • provide accurate processing times
We’re prioritizing applications from
  • Canadians trying to return to Canada
  • vulnerable people
  • people who perform or support essential services
If you have an application in progress
If you want to apply to come to Canada
Yes, but this is NOT saying specifically about citizenship.
It's about travel documents and work visas for Canadians trying to return home and work visas for people doing essential services, i.e. people who need to come back to Canada or people they are trying to get into Canada because of Covid.
