Likely not. My understanding of AOR is that it means you have submitted everything you need to and all looks good. Like, you haven't missed any check boxes or your photos look fine, sort of thing. I haven't heard of any applications being returned following an AOR. If they need any further documentation in addition to the package you initially sent, they'll let you know.

No. They issue AOR, only if you sent a complete application that has no issues in processing further.

AOR mean is the application is complete, most likely no return.

I realized in June I had forgotten to send my full 5 year work history and after several calls I have been told that it’s now upto the agent that sees my file. So either I get an email with AOR and can update the missing info or they can choose to send it back to me.
Does anyone here have experience with this kind of situation? Trying to anticipate the outcome instead of stressing.

I received my returned application last night.
It wasn't even the work history that was the issue, it was the language proof.
The only thing I don’t follow is the “Note” where they have said that “the date of signature on the original application will still be used for physical presence calculation”
Does that mean they are wanting me to resubmit the same dates? Because that’s more than 90 days ago which goes against the online guide.

I submitted the original application Feb 03 2020, they stamped it received on Feb 06 2020 and I received the returned application on September 15 2020 Any advice would be appreciated!

In this case you just need to add your language proof ASAP with the existing application and LOE (letter of explanation) that you received. Your application is already checked and marked the missing document so don't add anything new or type a new application.
