Hi guys,
Just wanted to ask two question:

1. Is it ok to attach a letter of explanation to the application? I have one thing that I’d like to shortly explain,

2. Is it ok to include any potentially helpful documents with the application or is it better to stick to the check list?

Thank you

If the extra documents are related to the explanation letter then no harm to attach, keep in mind explanation letter should be relevant to application otherwise extra documents are not encouraged.

Thanks for your input.
I’ve had three passports in the past 5 years (old and current) and a temporary passport which overlaps slightly with both. That’s what I wanted to explain cause it looks weird when I list my travel documents. Do you think it would be better to explain it in that “table b” underneath the list of travel documents instead of attaching a separate letter? I’m not sure cause they say to use that “table b” to explain why, if you did not have a travel document but that’s not really my case.

I have had 2 in the past 5 years and I explained this in table B, got the AOR already.

You can explain in table b and attach all passport copy pages covering 5 years, I don;t think you need to attach an additional explanation letter.

One returned app for February applicant on fb group today. Reason missing a check box and some information on minor application.

We can't rule out the possibility of application returns for FEB applicants at this stage either these guys are too slow with Canada post delivering applications back at a very slow pace so this doesnt help.
