I took my test 07.14.2021 and passed.

From my experience the test was less history and dates than I was expecting from practice exams. More facts that you might pick up just from day to day life living in Canada and of course reading the Discover Canada booklet. Perhaps I just got lucky though.

Their instructions said mail it to the address. I am in Saskatoon. Is there usually an email?
Most guys mentioned about emailing. So may be the invite contains emailing as well as mailing(for the people dont have email). Not sure they missed out for your in the invite or you missed it.

For Saskatoon office, they always ask to mail not email. I received the same in April.
That is good to know. I was starting to worry and thought maybe I misread it. I contacted them today and they said a random selected test caused my account say interview for July 15 when there is no interview scheduled. “Our Headquarters were conducting an IT systems review and your file was randomly selected to test if the new Client Tracker portal was working effectively and therefore there is actually no event scheduled that you need to participate in.”

LOL. Who tests on production with live accounts. That's a weird practice.

No, you were not lucky. It is the norm. Just by reading newspapers regularly and with some common sense, one can answer 50% of the questions correctly. Questions with dates are most of the time are testing your sense of time as most of the choices can be eliminated based on common sense. IMO, Discover Canada is the only thing that one needs to read.

God knows when I'll get a reply for my application . I applied in Feb 2020, App Delivered Feb 14th Received October 26, Completed Background Check Jan 26th and then Nothing. Everything else is still in progress. Had some unfortunate events happen back home during COVID so really need to head back to family, but not sure when they will reply
Almost same with you, application received Feb 24 2020, background checks completed Jan 26 2021
Up till now no massage yet.
