Hi Guys, I created a web form inquiry last Sunday, and got the following response.
Is it a generic response? I ordered my GCMS notes last Tuesday. A long way to go until
receiving the notes. What should I do?

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is still in process.
All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.
Due to the ongoing situation related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), some IRCC offices are currently operating with reduced or critical staff only.
We are working on processing applications as quickly as possible; however, processing times are affected and any disruption caused by COVID-19 is not reflected accurately on our website. We will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.
Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.
Also, the Government of Canada is closely monitoring the new coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact on IRCC clients.
Service Canada has begun calling permanent residence (PR) applicants in Canada who have received a biometrics instruction letter and have not given their biometrics within the last 10 years to schedule their biometric collection appointment. Phone calls will be made by region and priority will be given based on the date the application was submitted to IRCC. There is no additional fee for this service.
Biometrics collection services are currently available only for PR applicants who have been contacted by a Service Canada officer and given an appointment.
Please do not visit a Service Canada office to give your biometrics unless you have an appointment scheduled by a Service Canada officer. If you miss your appointment for any reason, including because you have COVID-19 symptoms, a Service Canada officer will call you again to schedule a new appointment.
We want to assure you that you do not have to give your biometrics until you are able to get an appointment. Your application will not be refused or closed if you cannot give your biometrics due to COVID-19 closures.
We invite you to continue visiting the IRCC website regularly to obtain the latest updates. We thank you for your patience.
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.
We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

Hi @legalfalcon

Received GCMS notes today ,
it says eligibility -recommended passed
criminality-in progress
Security-not started

AOR -Feb 13 CEC inland

The Analyst has made a note at the end, Could you please suggest if everything is ok. Thanks
CERTIFICATE :CRIMINALITY spouse India police certificate Provided -NRT R10 OK Recommendation : Review required stat question

Can you please suggest .

Regards,
The note means that as per the PCC, there is Mo reportable Trace (NRT), i.e. the record is clear, and R10 refers to the Regulation 10, which is a completeness check <see https://bit.ly/34liCl6>.

The review required is for the stat questions, if you answer yes to any prior visa refusals, and if you did, then this is normal. No need to be concerned.

In the latest notes section of my GCMS notes, it says

***OFFICER REVIEW*** Application Pending MEDs re-assessments

And so in the Assessment Status section my Medicals has "NOT Started" status.

where as my medicals were previously passed when I submitted. (AOR February 15 and medicals passed on February 26)

Is this related to retaking of my medicals?

My medicals will expire on November 10th. So far in my IRCC account I havent received any updated regarding retaking medicals.

The medicals are valid for 12 months. They have to be valid when you submit your application and also be valid when you land. IRCC cannot give you a PRV beyond the medical expiry date. When the officer is of the view that the medicals may expire before the applicant enter's Canada, or if there is not much time left in the validity of the medicals, and the medicals is the only thing remaining before the officer makes a final decision, then the officer can ask for re-assesment of the medicals form the Medical officer, which can provide a extension of additional 12 months.

Effective June 1st, 2012, officers can request that an applicant’s medical file be reassessed by a Medical Officer (MOF) or a Health Branch (HB) delegated staff for the issuance of a new medical certificate. The process applies to cases where a final decision of an officer is pending only due to the expiration of a medical certificate or when the validity of the medical certificate is about to expire and the applicant is unable to land before it expires. This process is limited to applicants who had a routine immigration medical examination (IME) done by a panel physician within the last 15 months in or outside Canada. The new medical certificate issued will be valid for 12 months.

Thanks a lot @legalfalcon . I really could not find this article elsewhere. Can I be confidant now that I may receive a decision any time soon? Or is this just standard thing for the applicants whose medicals are expiring soon.

If your eligibility is passed, and so is security, then you should have a decision soon. This is the step forward and definitely takes you more closer to the decision.

@legalfalcon My family composition is changed and now obviously I have to show more funds in my account if they ask. However, I want to show Proof of funds in different account than the original bank account which I gave in PR application.

Is it possible to show proof of funds in different account, where my funds requirement is as per IRCC criteria?

Actually, now I have funds in different bank, and I also took loan in the original bank account which I gave in PR application.

Yes, you can show funds in any account as long as it is above or meets the IRCC requirement and also the 6 months average balance.

Quick Question: There has been considerable delays with IRCC I have applied as CEC inland and I have an offer which states I have can work till Dec 2021, I am an ICT. The understanding was that I should have received my decision by at least Jan 2021 , I have applied in Feb and waiting for BIL call.

Everything is passed except security as per the IRCC as security will start once biometric is done.

will I be asked to get a new offer letter again if there are delays on the IRCC side if my approval goes beyond Jan 2021 then I will have less than 12 months on the offer. @legalfalcon can you please chime in

You will not be asked for a new offer letter. If you claim points, the condition you have to meet is that your offer is valid for at least 12 months from the day you become a PR.

But if the decision for final stages goes till Feb 2021 isn’t the case that have offer valid only for 11 more months given that it ends on Dec 2021 . I am sorry if I have misunderstood something here.
