When you ask a MP to contact IRCC for an update on the application, IRCC has to revert back to the MP. If you have been sent a request for additional documents or a clarification, you have to revert back to IRCC

Congratulations and all the best for the journey ahead!

The time frame for the PR card differs, but 4-7 weeks is average within which a PR card should be sent to you.

You can link your PR card application to your MyCIC account.
Hi @legalfalcon Thanks for your message. How can I connect it into my MyCIC account?
The only thing they asked me to do was to send them 2 photos along with copy of the
CoPR letter. Is there any form I need to fill out to do the linking?

The visa office I am sending my photos is in Vancouver where I live.
Do you think it would help a little bit to receive the card quicker?

Thanks as always!

See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account/link-paper-online.html

You can also tray tracking your application through this link https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas

Not all applications can be linked. If you are unable to link your application or find it on ECAS, no need to be concerned. Just tray after some time, it could be that your application has not been updated in the system. If you are still unable to link it, then its just a system issue and you can call IRCC to track your application.

Hello Everyone,
I hope everybody is doing well here. I have a great news to share with you all. I received my CoPR today!!
I wanted to thank all of you in this forum who supported me, and helped me through rough, uncertain times.
I also wanted to specially thank @legalfalcon for his guidance that he so generously provides to all of us.
I know some of you are still waiting for decision, and I wish them all the best!

I have a quick question. They want me to send my photos to an office in Vancouver.
Do you guys know how long it is taking for applicants to receive PR card after sending the
photographs? They mentioned it is taking longer then usual, so I am curious about how
long I need to wait for the actual card to arrive in mail. Thank you!
@Magnolian , do you know which Visa office was handling your application? I have similar timelines and my Visa Office is Etobicoke, wondering if some offices are slow!

Hi my application was processed at Montreal. But I found it was sent to Vancouver visa office from my recent GCMS note.
Now they asked me to send my photos to an office in Vancouver (on Hornby St.) I don't know if this is the visa office or just
place to receive the photos. Hope this helps.

Thanks @legalfalcon , although I did not quite understand your message. IRCC did not ask me for any clarification, they just told the MP office that to answer this request, they had to contact the office that has my file for more clarification...and I was wondering if that meant there are problems. I myself haven't been asked anything, given any update or contacted in the last year....FSW Inland AOR Feb 8th.

It will depend on where your application is at and how long it will take IRCC to revert back. When a MP contacts IRCC, they have to revert back within a time frame, if they need time to gather the info, especially if your file is at a visa office out side Canada then this message is normal.

This message does not in any way indicate that there is anything wrong with your application. To know the details, you can call IRCC or request your GCMS notes. However, before that, just wait for IRCC to revert back to the MP.

Ah I see, thanks for clarifying. My file is at the CPC-Ottawa as per GCMS notes of Feb 2nd, so hopefully doesn't take them long.

@legalfalcon Hi I am a Feb 2022 CEC inland applicant and this is the first time I ordered a GCMS notes. The last update I see on my file is from 2020-03-06 and it says CEC Case Parked NOTES: CEC case parked due to the following Other: RA for household.

That does this mean?

My Security is not yet started and Criminality is in progress. This is making me anxious.

Hi my aor Is feb 2020, no progress since thn. I called representative today to check if there is any update and he told me that IRCC is not processing PNP express entry they are focusing on CEC only. I am inland.
It’s been 14 months and feeling stuck as I cannot make any future plans, not getting a new job because my WP will be expiring in a few months.
Guys please advise what to do, is there any action that can be taken which can seek IRCC’s attention to process 2020 q1 applications (all inland streams)

Have you applied for your bridging open work permit? If I were you I'd be doing that ASAP so you can at least look for work/get a new job and remain in the country.
I applied in Feb 2020 as well but under CEC/FSW and whilst I have just recently in the last couple days seen movement, there was nothing before. Have you received any GCMS notes or called IRCC to see exactly where your eligibility, security criminality etc are?
