question to all.. Do we get pre -arrival letter first and then PPR ? Do they send the letter via email or to your physical address? Applicant's address or Sponsor address? I am just trying to understand because I haven't gotten any of these yet so wanted to know what to expect. Thanks ! and congratulations to all who got their PPR :)
sometime it can be in one moment.

VO checking four factors for the applicant, eligibility, criminality, security and medical. Usually they start with eligibility and the applicant get pre arrival services when eligibility passed. Mostly the sponsor receive the emails from VO and sometimes the applicant’s email copy in these emails.

Hi guys,
Sorry this is completely off topic, I know we’re talking about out spouses and PR but does anyone know how my sister in law and her family (husband and 2 kids under age 10) are able to come here?
i am in Manitoba,my husband hasnt gotten his PR yet, they have 1 more sister in Ottawa she has her citizenship already been here for 6 years now. But she doesnt have the amout of income to support a family of 4 for even a visit. And I cant compromise my husbands PR application.
situation back home is not very good, her little boys aren’t coping well with the violence. And they we’re told that they cant apply for refugee status because its just for syrians.
any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I submitted my spoue viza file by post received in cic office sydney on 5 feb 2020 .No AOR till now.
Any suggestion or advice would be appriciated. Thanks

My app is officially past a year. Last update was pre arrival on Jan28, ecas said decision made like 2 weeks ago, so hopefully one day soon PPR comes. My PA is living with me in Canada under dual intent, we can send her passport to Ottawa and not the LVO?

If you know anyone/friends/family who has a decent amount of $, they can write a letter of support saying they'll provide financial assistance to your family if need be. How did your husbands sister get citizenship?

She married someone from Lebanon who lives here
Do you know of any other way to get them here?

if you can afford it, I'd say just get a relative who is a Canadian citizen to do an application for outland family PR. but really, you have to be able to support them, don't want them on the streets.

This is terribly tricky indeed. it's decision that can break the family relationship with the sponsor if things turn wrong. It's like 10 years of support in Canada as far as i know.... it's asking someone to commit itself for a decade for some to enter it's really a lot , has to be a well thought decision and knowing the person that wants them in can't support them if something happen.
