When i try to check app on ecas, it only pops up with sponsor data and uci number, doesnt pop up with principal applicant data.

Chkey, not able to find application either by sponsor data or principal applicant. No of trials exceeded and account on hold . I tried everything possible mix and maych game since yesterday. 15 trials till now and not able to find it !

Any advice?
I tried all options as previous posts in this forum, make 1, make 2, single, married, space bar after names and data inserted, with pa data, with soonsar data! Also nothing!

I dont mind linking it! But as my understanding i should link it to able to get med and biom request applications. What if i dont link it and just dont give a shit. Will those applications and everythibg will be sent by email and accessible? Or its not an option and i should link it, to avoid they send thise bio and med request by regular mail and things got lost?

It's so sad people are coming here just when they've faced a problem. Guys, if you're in a thread of February 2019, read it. Read all of it. It has all the answers. It's just impossible to answer every single question a hundred of times if it was just answered on a previous page. Just be a bit more responsible!

If you can see it on eCAS with sponsor data but can't see with PA's, that means you're doing something wrong. You're making a mistake somewhere. And when you're trying to link your application to GCKey, you can't find it using PA's data, because probably you're doing the same mistake. It's just my guess, but it might be an option. May I ask what country your PA is from, where they were born?
And also try not to stick with one piece of information. If you can't find using passport data, try the place of birth. And the opposite. Don't try one combination with/without spaces or in all caps. Try different combinations of data.

So today I was able to link my application to GC, but still unable to link to eCAS? Presume it doesn’t matter as I’m linked with my CIC account now.

Question : can I rely on ECAS to follow the application and forget about linking the app. to my CIC account?

eCAS is fine. You don't have to link. They will send you an email about anything important.

Just out of curiosity for linking accounts - when the PA has a last name that's e.g. MC TAVISH (as shown on ECAS) were you able to link using MCTAVISH? MC TAVISH? or TAVISH as the PA's last name? (Celtic world problems, I know....) (And does case matter to link?) . Taking a break from other computer chaos to check in . Congrats to those Feb 8 AORs!!
