1) You need to land by the expiry on your COPR. This is not negotiable. The expiry is usually the same as the expiry of your medical. Medicals are good for one year.Hi,
I am here requesting best suggestion to act.
I am the PA here, completed biometrics and medical, but no updates in ECAS yet.
I am worried as I am due to take my employment on ship for a period of 4 months by end of May 2019. With fingers crossed to get somepostive updates from CIC by then.
My question ?
1) Can PA delay his or her travel to Canada, after disition made and visa stamped.
2) is there any rule in place that, once the PA application process is over, do the PA need to land in Canada within a specific time period. If yes, what is that time period
2) You must meet the residency obligation but you do not need to move right away. You do have to land either way by the expiry on the COPR. You can do what is called a soft landing - land as a PR but not move. You do need a Canadian address to send the PR card to.
