hi all! I received my letter for the oath ceremony yesterday (November 18), although someone from IRCC did call me last Tuesday (November 12) to ask a question and tell me the date for my ceremony.

Ceremony is on November 30 - can be updated in the spreadsheet :)

Did the test today in Scarborough and got invited for the ceremony tomorrow. I can't believe this long journey (PR + Citizenship) is coming to an end. My test invite came after 9 months. Please study for the test. It's easy if you studied for it ( I passed 20/20 and went over my answers 3 times just to be sure) but if you're winging it, you might have a bit of a hard time. These resources below are gold. The actual questions are obviously different but this is fantastic practice.

P.s. The guy who finished the test today in under 30 sec. If you're in this forum, Respect to you man. I hope you Aced it!

Good luck everyone!

Did my test today in Scarborough at 1.30pm. Passed (no one in my session finished it that quick. Kudos to the guy who finished in less than 30 sec). They said they will send me test invite in few months as its too late for afternoon session canditates for 19th oath ceremony.

Congrats!!!

I am not supposed to blow the guy's cover but that guy is alien from outer space. No human does that test in less than 30 seconds.
wow that a record I did it in like 5 min too but had to go through twice before I handed it over that person must have been super confident ...

SO , finally got the FP request notification letter. can anyone update me pros and cons to get it done through an accredited agency or local police? which is faster

4 Months does seem like a long time. You may want to consider contacting your MP's office. They can represent you in a request for further information from IRCC. Alternatively/in addition to, you could also submit an ATIP request on your file. In the resulting information, you can see status updates on your file and any notes (usually very coded and limited in detail). That may give a little window into what is the processing delay. I'll note that ATIP requests have a turnaround time of about one month.

I am also from Montreal. I am a bit behind you (only had the test/interview last week). Decision Made updated only as of today.

From Toronto here! And I’ve been waiting for my oath invitation for 6months now! So frustrating!

How do you know what your processing office is? Like I applied with a home address of Toronto (downtown).

Thanks
