Dear if you can spare sometime, please share steps to be followed for VFS passport submission. I have only photographs ready!
Nothing much... just carry your ready to visa mail printout, and your passport(s). I think most of the vfs’ have a photo booth so that you can get yours as per the requirement there itself. Photo costs 136 INR, and then you can go inside to submit your passport. You ll be asked If you would like to go for courier and sms service to keep track of your application. I said yes for both and paid 611 INR for both. Apparently, picking up the passport personally would take 15-20 days for processing while courier could fasten the process and should by done within 5-7 days. And that’s all, you can start packing...

Can someone guide me please?

I am supposed to submit the passports within 30 days to VFS Delhi, but my wife is travelling in last week of this month. Can we submit our passports when she returns back at the end of this month?

How much time it usually takes for stamping?

As long as you submit your passports with in the 30 days, it doesn't matter when you submit it. If your wife will come back with in the given time, then you can submit it after she comes back

Congratulations dear. What reply u got from Goodale???

It's my pleasure :) I can relate to your story, and I actually have a very similar experience.. I took the whole process for granted. Sure, it's not as efficient as they claim, or maybe luck didn't favor us this time. But I planned everything out, meticulously, based on the 6 month estimate. And now I'm literally in the middle of nowhere. What's more is I screwed myself over further by providing my US address on my passport when I thought I'd get my H1B, so now I can't even open a bank account in my own country without applying for a new local govt document that will take another 3 months. I can't apply for a new passport either because that would destroy my Canada PR application. I'm about to take up a job here now but I have no clue how they'll be able to pay me :p
I think it was Dwayne Johnson who in a really motivational speech to a sports team (it's on youtube) said that you have to remember the hard times to remind yourself what you're made of. The tougher your past, the tougher you are, but as we dwell back into comfort, we tend to forget easily :)
I also really like this line from the movie 'Gladiator': "Nothing ever happens to anyone that he is not fitted by nature to bear".

Sorry but I'm in inspired overload mode :D

but very inspiring.. I guess we all have our own stories, and those are ones that make us, define us. Judging by what I read, our mettle has been very well-tempered

It's PPR for me guys....I am so relieved today after excruciating wait..
Note: I had review required on my POF (Proof Of Fund) and was pending with CB01126 since April 5th at CIO Sydney.
