I mailed them after my call to IRCC.
Can't tell you how much time, but I can say that your BG has been started processing right now.My background check just reverted back to Your application is in progress from We are processing your background check on 25th July. AOR 12 Feb
Anyone in similar situation and how much more time?
I agree. I am amazed how someone found him and tried to make him do someone else's job. As much as it is his duty to serve the public, it is not his office's job to check people's immigration status. I was thinking calling CIC every week was quite brutal but reaching out to a MP of a country where you haven't even immigrated yet is very unkind.I really don't understand one thing, why would anyone email him? His office has no connections with the Canadian Permanent Residency Program.
His staff probably only take 5 minutes to check all details of the file.

I submitted my new born documents on 25 April and profile got updated with his name on 29 AprilHi All,
I wanted to ask a couple of questions regarding the express entry PR visa timelines:
My particulars:
- Once I have submitted my newborn children’s documents, how long does it take for the CIC to request a medical for newborn children and for my wife (her X-ray is pending)?
- Once the medicals are done, as per current trends, how long does it take to receive a PPR please?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
- I’m the principal with dependent wife and twin sons. FSW Outland (India)
- Feb 20, 2019 was my AOR
- April 15 was our biometrics’ date
- My twins were born on 1 June and the CIC has given me time till Aug 31 to submit their docs, but I have everything ready and will submit the forms and documentation by July 31.
Thanks
