i just received a ghost update on monday which changed my Review of additional documents to Not Applicable.
How much longer do i have to wait to receive the PPR?

Hi all,

Golden mail arrived yesterday!

ITA: 19th Dec
AOR: 4th Feb
NOC:2171
FSW outland (UK)
Visa office: London, UK
Biometrics: 29th March
PPR: 28th August

The forum has been really helpful in every way possible. Thank you, guys!

Hi Is there a specific time during the day when they send the PPR email? or does it vary?

Hello All,

I called CIC this morning and talked to a very helpful agent. I asked her specifically when was the last time someone worked on my file and she said "April 2019". Then she said, since my file is past 6 months and no no one has worked on it, she will send a reminder to the officer. Fingers crossed, let's hope I get some good news soon. More details regarding my applications are in my signature.

Eligibility Recommended Pass, Criminality Passed and Security Not Started. Been in final review queue since May 9th.

Initial 6 month estimation ended on May 2nd. According to GCMS notes received this month I should have got my PPR by May 23rd. Medical expiring on October 16th. No update since April 26.

1st remainder expired on June 3rd
2nd remainder expired on July 14
3rd remainder expired on July 26th
4th remainder is expiring today August 29th
They will probably send 5th remainder and give a new date at sometime in September when I call them tomorrow.

Contacted Mr. Goodale twice and his office responded with the same status as they did back in May.
Contacted Mr.Ahmed Hussen earlier in the month and his office responded with the same status.

Request to transfer application from Case Processing Centre Ottawa to New Delhi Visa Office in June was refused stating that it will affect program integrity and a transfer will delay the processing times further by atleast two months. Irony, is that I have already completed two months since then

Request to withdraw my application in July was refused because my application is in final review queue and decision is pending officer's final review. So basically, application cannot be withdrawn when it is in the final processing stage.

I'm just patiently waiting now to complete 1 year and join the November 2019 batch :)
I asked them about cancelling my application and was told I can't cancel it at this stage. Our status are similar but I've been waiting nearly 7 months only. :(

I am having the same status as you have .. the only difference is my AOR is 16 Feb 2019.
I am really not able to get how do they process the files, is there any set criteria or is it just random... 10 months wait is too long a time. Stay put my friend.. we will definitely get PPR. I know it is very difficult as I am also going through the same waiting period with pain but I guess we don’t have any other option apart from waiting and praying. So let’s keep our fingers crossed hoping that the next batch of PPR sets will also have our names in it. Good luck to you, myself and to all my fellow forum members. God bless us all.
