Hi all,

I was silent observer of this group. but thought of sharing few updates / details when I called IRCC yesterday.
My Details :

AOR : 10th February 2019.
FSW - O (India)
Medicals passed : 27th March
Bio-metrics : 2nd April
no updates since (might have missed GU if there's any)

Well I have crossed my 6 months timeline on 10th Aug (not ordered GCMS notes yet) so I have called IRCC office on 12th August and 22 August.
Agent to whom I talked yesterday was very much helpful.
He put my call on hold after asking permission for it for 3 to 4 minutes and given me details . he also told me there were no updates on file
between 12th August till yesterday . he also said nothing to worry and everything seems in order but its its taking bit longer. and officer is assigned to file. but no planned date or future dates were given on file
I have asked can he put some sort of remainder or any notes to officer so he said that yes and he's doing it right away (hopefully he did)
so bit of surprise !

My
Medicals : passed
Criminality : passed
Eligibility : Recommended pass
Security : not yet started
background check and info sharing (sharing your file across other Canada offices - agent told me) : in progress

also here to update : IRCC going voice only services from 16th September 2019 and agent will respond within 1 business day !
so i am not sure how it will play out (no human interaction n all i guess) ! :O

as per trend i think by year end or so they might officially increase timeline by 1 or 2 months
I got the same message to.
The call center is changing the way they operate from September 16th, they will no longer connect you to an agent, they will respond via an email in one business day.

What makes you think I should? Just curious.
I felt as GCMS is going to take like 40 days to come, it's pointless. Anyway, I probably might order. But what

You mentioned Eligibility required review - so to get a clear idea what exactly it is GCMS notes would help, I guess.

I ordered it on July 15, 2019 and I got then today
I Have already contacted IRCC over phone yesterday, they said all the assessment were done
The notes have a time lag. My opinion is dont sent a webform and muddy the waters. Chill if you are through. Call again and confirm and then do the most important thing you can do in this whole process, raise a glass of your best vintage and proceed to get sozzled, or the equivalent if you dont like to get on the sauce

Hi everyone,

I sent Ralph's office an email requesting information and go this response:

Eligibility, criminality, and security checks are passed.

Medicals are valid until Jan 2020.

The file is ready for final review and decision. Timelines not available.

Has anyone gotten this response before, and if they have, how long did it take to get the PPR?

Thanks!

Yes, I also got the same update from Ralph's office about 3 weeks ago. A few others on this forum also got the same update & our files are at London VO.
Do you know your VO?

200 days mark completed today...

Update received through Ralph on 26th July and GCMS on 1st Aug

Visa office London
Eligibility recommended passed
Medical passed
Criminality passed
Info sharing complete
Security not started

As per GCMS file was last touched on 10th April.

Tried calling twice but did not get a chance to speak to an agent due to high number of calls. I cannot try again and again as hangouts is ban in UAE and calling from mobile is super expensive.

Raised webform 15 days before no response.

Just waiting to get an email on one fine day...

AOR : 18 February
My last update was
Eligibility: Recommended Pass
Criminality : Passed
Security: Not Started

I called up IRCC today and no movement on the file, they have asked me to call around Mid September or end of September to expect any changes on the file status.

Last update was done on 12 Aug as per the agent

No remarks given by agent to suggest any additional documentation requirement

They are so cool about the delays... yeah the file has not moved... no updates... why don’t you give us a call around mid September, the status “might” change

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that the application is still in process.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

While the processing times may vary with each case, we will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

How long did it take for you to get this response? I filled webform 4 days ago and no response yet.
