Hey guys,

AOR Feb 16 here. I observed a ghost update on my profile just now. No emails received but checked the portal for found the following changes:

* Review of medical results changed to You passed the medical exam.
* UCI has changed to a 10 digit number
* Tracker bar is back with the ETA as 4 months. No change in the date of ETA as such.
* No update for BIL
* And they have made my whole name UPPERCASE. Doesn't look so appealing though. Lol :p

I presume I should wait for BIL email to be sent in the next batch. Anyone else from Feb 16 AOR on the same boat?
@abhijith.av have you received your Biometrics letter yet? I am also in the same situation as yours.

Had my last ghost update on April 15, appearing to mark IP2 as underway; unfortunately, not heard anything since. At 111 days today, so I suspect I may be waiting the full 6 months.

The information on average processing time and how long it might take to get updates is almost on every other thread on this forum along with multiple other articles online.

It is not polite to ask questions very commonly answered on the forum again and again just to save yourself some time. Please go back in this thread or the January thread or the November thread for that matter and spend 15 minutes of your time researching that answer yourself.

I do not mean to be a jerk, I can understand your frustration with the wait but the answer to the question about "My medical was cleared on X date, I have not received updates for Y days, is this normal, should I be doing something?" has been answered a million times on this forum already. It is expected that you do a little bit of hard work to find it.
I would have appreciated if my questions was answered rather criticizing for asking a question repeatedly. At an individual level, it is my problem and I am presenting it on an open forum. Also, it is not intended to one person to reply. Essentially, if you find it repeated, please ignore it and go on with other threads.
No offence but I would love to see some helpful comments (as any other) on this beautiful discussion forum.

Cheers,
P.

Ive noticed the Feb group is very impatient compared to other AOR groups. Guys we're all here for the same reason. Some people are new and may not realize that their questions are common. We are the Feb cohort, let's help each other, give support and give some positive vibes.

Again, Like I said in my original post, I do not want to be a jerk to anyone and I understand that this is a frustrating wait for some, What you unfortunately do not realize is that at times the collective wisdom of a forum would end up answering an important question splendidly at one time while at other times the answer to that same question may be far from accurate. Creating repeat threads and asking repeat questions increases the chances of threads being populated by substandard answers to repeat questions and makes it that much difficult for future aspirants to search for "the correct" answer to what they are looking for.

This is not related to Immigration, These are "forum etiquettes" that apply to all forums from tech to fashion, from medicine to travel.

@legalfalcon plz help with any suggestions on the issue posed above

The passport is your identity document. You should have clarified this when you filed your application. If you get a new passport send the scan of the new passport and Inform IRCC of the discrepancy in the DoB.

Do not wait until the COPR or PPR. After the PPR is issued, if you get any changes done, the application is re-opened and it may take more time.

Thank you so much!

Are there chances of rejection because of the discrepancy...really worried....
