Hi My ECAS shows now on Decision Made since Sept 6th. Still no Letter of Oath Ceremony. Don't know how long have to wait for that. Applied from Vancouver.

Passed the test and interview completed. IO said that no concerns regarding my application and I should expect my ceremony before February 2019 as the processing time is 12 months.

It doesn’t necessarily mean that’s gonna be the case for you. Your oath invite will most likely come before December. Most agents say that in order to keep people’s expectations grounded.

I ordered GCMS notes & they are as follows -
ASSESSMENTS
Knowledge: Not Started
Residence: Not Started
Language: Not Started
Prohibition: Not Started
Criminality: In Progress
Oath: Not Started

I have following questions regarding the above -

1. I did provide copy of my IELTS results with the application. So then why does the Language assessment say not started?

2. Which government agency does the Residence assessment?

3. Which government agency does the Prohibition assessment?

I would really appreciate if someone could provide answers/insights to the above mentioned.

Applying for GCMS is a waste of your and IRCC time. IRCC handles 50% of all Government of Canada request for information access. This is an abuse of the system. Do you know how many agents and officers are assigned to handle these necessary requests instead of focusing on citizenship and other applications? The only reason I can think of to request a GCMS is after the 12 months period. Otherwise, anybody who does that is hogging resources.

Hello all, hope all of you guys are doing well!
I have a question if any one can help.. i am from toronto, i applied for citizenship in feb 2018, did my test in scarbrough on 1 aug 2018, aftet the test officer noticed that my total stay in my back home was more than 6 months in total so he told me to submit police clearnce within a month so i submited in aug.. and now finally i got DM.. the thing is i have to go to backhome in the end of january 2019.. and i m worried that i may receive the oth letter at that time.. so can any one give me suggestion what to do?.. do i send them a letter in advance that they can take my oth before january?.. or do i wait for the oth letter ? And if it conflict with my trip then i request for an other oth date in may or june?...
