This point cannot be overstated. Some will get a quick test date and have a long wait until DM. Others wait a while for a test date and have DM in a day or two after. It's not about the in-between timelines, but the end point. Same with getting FP requests. Just get them done as soon as you can and there isn't likely to be any impact to your time lines. Also, there have been several reports from people that IRCC does not schedule oaths by "decision made" date. Instead they look at how long ago someone applied and schedule according to that. So there are people who race through the pipeline and then wait forever for oath.
Well said, SpyfyChill everyone
Only 40ish% of February applicants are IP so far.
Also, a general recommendation this early on so you keep your sanity: Do not put any meaning into day distances between stages. There is no point to say "it's been X days since AOR but someone else made it from AOR to IP in less than X days". You are incorrectly assuming that there is a strong connection between when you finish stage A and stage B. There isn't. Even worse, you are comparing yourself to an average that you will be part of later. It's comparable to look at the "average finishing time" of a marathon after only the first ten people finished. Then you look at that average and think "oh my god am I slow". Obviously you have to wait until everyone finished the marathon before the average makes sense.
Also, there have been several reports from people that IRCC does not schedule oaths by "decision made" date. Instead they look at how long ago someone applied and schedule according to that. So there are people who race through the pipeline and then wait forever for oath.
You should actually simply ignore the specific dates from individuals. Instead just look at the top line of the spreadsheet. Once the IP number is at like 90% and you still didn't IP, then you might wonder.
