Sent the application on Dec 10th, 2017, the application delivered on Dec 14th, 17 (per Canada Post).
Haven't received AOR yet, Is that normal?
Very. It takes 6-8 weeks

Honestly I'll let others comment on this. Like you said I had same problem sticking to 10 pages limit, initially I had about 400 pages of chat logs so I had to work on the font size and other stuff to get that down to 150 pages. Having said that my wife and I spent so much time in organizing everything. We used envelope for everything as per the checklist. We followed the entire checklist and didn't miss anything. I used label maker to label all the envelopes. It's not messy at all, I gave so much information in a well organized way. They can go over to any documents as quick as they want as per my label structure. I even put all the pictures in a small envelope, labelled that and put them on the big one. That's how I did!

Has anybody tried using Post Notes (Sticky notes) to label the docs?

Could you please give some tips in using them ?
Just put the documents related to each other together, attach them by paperclip, put a sticker on the first page and name the group( mainly based on the checklist), for example: proof of financial, sponsor's forms, applicant's forms, social media photos, ....

What is the ridiculous about? You do know that the time frame is based on how many applications they received, right? The system works as intend. You think it is ridiculous, try to apply PCC from FBI, it will take 14 weeks for them just open up your application.

Congratz! We have the same VO. Can you tell me please when your background check changed to "in progress" and when you had decision made? I just recived a pre-approval letter from them yesterday but my background check didn't started. So i'm confused. Thank you.
