Finally the status in ECAS changed to Decision made.

What I am understanding from others, there's another waiting game to get PPR and COPR but I hope it'll be quick. TBH it's a bit of relief to see the status changed to DM.

Good luck everyone! :)

Yeah lets hope for the best. Hope you hear something from them soon.

My wife got her Confirmation of Permanent Residence on Friday. Here's her timeline (police clearances sent upfront):

- Application received Feb. 8, 2017.
- I was accepted as sponsor on Apr. 22, 2017, I think.
- Medical request was some time in May.
- The medical results were not submitted until July due to various delays.
- Not sure when background check began.
- Decision was made on Sep. 22, 2017.
- Passport was requested on Oct. 26, 2017 and received by Ottawa on Oct. 30, 2017.
- Confirmation of Permanent Residence received on Nov. 10, 2017.

She got an email saying her CIC account had been updated right before the confirmation was returned.

Hi everybody. Does anybody know the phone number to call to get up to date information about your application? I've called it before but lost the number... I submitted police checks 6 weeks ago (the final things needed, everything else approved) but have not heard any more. I was hoping we'd be done by now but things are really taking a long time. VO is Vienna.

UPDATE - just received PPR this morning .. i just gave my interview a week ago and got the ppr today .. so happy .. thank you all .. ^_^

i was only asked these question -

1) Tell me about how you met with our sponsor and describe the whole story .
2) How old r u and your sponsor ?
3) did your parents knew about your relation prior to marriage ?
4) Why did you get married at that point ?
5) what does your in laws and your parents do n where do they live ?

then the officer took a look into all of my documents and relation proof and said he will approve ..
