Congratulation. What is your time line and which visa office?

It switched from Mississauga to Ottawa and then back to Mississauga. Police records were submitted upfront.

- Application received Feb. 8, 2017.
- I was accepted as sponsor on Apr. 22, 2017, I think.
- Medical request was some time in May.
- The medical results were not submitted until July due to various delays.
- Not sure when background check began.
- Decision was made on Sep. 22, 2017.
- Passport was requested on Oct. 26, 2017.

Well...not necessarily. Ottawa/Mississauga processes quite a few outland applications. Mine being one of those as well, applied from Sweden.

It's probably approved. From what I gather, the CIC account won't change until after the confirmation of permanent residence, so don't worry about it. Additionally, the passport request can take time before it's issued. My wife waited almost five weeks for hers.

Hi all! ECAS shows Decision Made!! Background check went into progress on October 4th and less than a month later Decision Made! Now the wait for COPR. Does anyone know how long it might take to receive after decision is made for PA living in England? Are they usually mailed?

Hello all,
We also applied in Feb 2017, got sponsor approval in April, file was sent to local office in Rabat Morocco in July 2017. Since July the status is the same, i.e. 'We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements'. And there is also a message: 'We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.' Until now we have not received any requests from them. I called CIC Canada, sent requests to Rabat. CIC in Canada said that they do not know why this status is posted as they do not see the local office remarks or notes. Rabat is silent. Did anyone have or has at the moment the same situation?

Proof of Relationship Documents Requested = June 7, 2017
(We traveled to Canada together for 3 weeks of vacation)
Medical Requested = July 25, 2017
Medical Exam = July 27, 2017
Medical Passed = July 28, 2017
Proof of Cohabiting for 1 year and Declaration of Common-Law Requested = August 28, 2017
Mailed all the required information directly to Canadian Embassy = September 20, 2017
BGC changed to in progress = September 27, 2017
Passport Request = November 1, 2017

ECAS is still showing "In Progress", but is updated with the passport request.

Fellow Canadian here waiting for a loved one to finally get their PR approved so that we can begin our lives together in Canada! Hoping in time for a white Christmas in Canada... but we'll see if that is possible or not!

Same in our case, medical passed and stuck at reviewing eligibility from June 23. It is really frustrating.
