Get another opinion. But I would call the VO and explain to them what happened, see what they tell you to do.

you have to keep calling. the 242-2100 number. you have to get through. I personally use the following [2,1,1,0]
some mornings I've had to call 18 times to get through to hold. other times I've only had to call four times.
i call early though.

Once we do get transferred to Ottawa, what kind of movement should we expect?
is it relatively quick one it gets to Ottawa?

AOR2 is the email from your local Visa Office that they have received your file already.

Sample AOR2:

Dear Principal Applicant (Name),

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada which has been received at this office.

Your application number is F000XXXX. Please ensure that you quote this number in all future correspondence with our office.
I am a little bit confuse here so do we get AOR 2 before the PR status change's from application received to in process or do we get it after cause I havent received it yet but it's in process since my application was forwarded to visa office plz reply asap thanks

I believe you do get AOR2 before application changes to in progress since AOR2 is just acknowledgment that the new VO has received/ opened your application. I believe.

Nope. It depends of the visa office.
Mine for exemple, it changed to in process when it was still in Mississauga.
Then I got an email saying that my app would be transferred to my visa office.
Then I got one line in Ecas: we started processing your application on May 15th ( that as my aor2 since my vo doesn't usually send it )

Hmm so is it normal not to have it cause the last letter I got was that my application has been forwarded to visa office and after that on my ecas that they started processing my partners application on 31 March that's all and now m waiting till now

Does anyone knows what does that mean ??

Thank you all

No idea what that means.
Kind of jealous though since ymthe BGC takes the longest apparently.
Maybe call CIC and see what they say.

Not all would get AOR2. Local VO and online systems of CIC are all unpredictable :)
