Are their any Feb Applicants that are still waiting for their files to be transferred to their Visa Offices? I'm a April Applicant and it seems as though my file is still stuck in Mississauga; we already got a medical request and that's already been completed but seems like the hold is due to Schedule A Declaration, but there's no upload option on MYCIC so I sent it via Webform on May 18 and mailed it on May 24, both have been signed by the applicant but as of June 2, still no update on my file and ECA still states Application Received.
our file was received on Feb.28. we're still waiting for it to be transferred to the Manila Visa Office :(

Me too. They requested Schedule A last May 30. I am checking it now for some errors and sending it on Monday... Hopefully it will be transferred after. Manila VO is my VO if ever it got transferred.

Hi all!

I need help on filling-up the schedule A of my spouse. I hope someone can enlighten me with these questions...

1. Request letter

On the request letter they told us this instructions:

o Please ensure that the form has been completed and that the information you have
provided in Section 6 Personal History (2014/08 – 2015/06) is reflected in Section 10
Addresses for each time period (2014/08 – 2015/06).

What could this mean?

My husband only lived in one address since birth that's why he used only one row under:

Section 10: Addresses
2009-03 - Ongoing

then, in section 6: Personal History

2016-04 Ongoing
2015-06 --- 2016-04

2014-07 --- 2015-06 (The one CIC noted on the letter) this timeline here is updated before it was (2014/08 – 2015/06)

2014-02 --- 2014-07
2013-08 --- 2014-02
2012-03 --- 2013-08
2009-03 --- 2012-03

-----

NOW, On his Edited Schedule A, Every time period on his SECTION 6: Personal History is reflected on SECTION 10: Addresses but having only one address (SAME ADDRESS ON EACH ROW -- because he never changed address or moved anywhere else)

2. Vacation

My husband had an out of the country vacation in 2015 for more or less 5 days (stayed in a hotel). Do I need to put it on the SECTION 6: Personal History? and if I have to, What address do I need to use?

3. ADDRESS

On filling-up the address. What is the District? and we have Province but when I chose "Philippines" on the drop down menu, the state/ province is blocked.

On his ECAs there is "NOT APPLICABLE". I think there is something wrong and I need to correct it too...

This is on the ECAS:

115 A. Mabini street
Baliuag, Bulacan C-3006
NOT APPLICABLE Philippines

...and this is the correct address:

Street number:
#115
Street Name: A. Mabini street, Sabang
City/ Town: Baliuag
Province: Bulacan
Country: Philippines
Postal Code: C-3006

Thank you so much for all the help!

I came to the Philippines on November 2016 to get married on January 7 2017 to my wife with whom I've been in a relationship to for 18 months BEFORE our marriage (so 23 months this June altogether and counting). I'm sponsoring my spouse and I'm also a Canadian citizen. I haven't returned yet to Canada since I came here and I've been living with my spouse only since after our marriage. I'm using my Canadian passport priviledges to stay here for a year (would that be considered a tourist visa?). I'm planning to wait for her until her PR gets approved. With that in context, we're having trouble defining if I am "exclusively living outside Canada" because the answers we gave to the following questions on the application form (IMM5532 Relationship...Evaluation) might reflect that. I do have my ties to Canada such as insurance I'm paying for and filed tax returns. I have no property but I do have family members who would allow our stay with them when we go to Canada. I have to ask

Here are my inquiries:
- Am I exclusively living outside Canada?
- I placed Canada as my Country of Residence. How should I answer "have you lived in any country
other than your country of citizenship in the last 5 years or your current country of residence (indicated above) for the last 6 mos?"
-Do you reside in Canada and in no other country?

Your answers would be of great help in completing our application! Thank you!

Hi, almost the same situation as yours! I arrived in PH in Nov.2016, got married on Jan.7th too . I'm cdn citizen and stayed in PH until Apr.24th. I applied for my husband's PR in March. I declared as Canadian citizen currently living abroad when filling up the forms. I put my PH address as mailing address and Canadian address for my residential address. I also declared myself as unemployed, but I asked my parents to provide a supporting letter that I attached on our application. When I came back here in Vancouver, I just updated my mailing address in CIC.

If I am not mistaken, the address in section 6 could be the address of his, let's say the employer or any activity that he was doing in that specific time period

Myself and I believe someone else from FEB and for sure someone I know from JAN. We're all stuck in Mississ for some reason. :(
I'm KICKING myself for not submitting it in December when we could have.

I'm March and stuck in Misiss too. I was kicking myself too for not submitting in Feb but after seeing this apparently that would not have made much difference. Try not to fret about it... You've done all you can.

For a friend of mine, who applied in Jan, his SA got completed, and the application was sent to his home country. The VO in his country "destroyed" his application (and some others' I believe) by mistake, and has asked him to resubmit directly to his country's VO!
Mine is stuck in Mississauga too. But believe it's stuck there for some good reason :)

My situation is also the same, file is stuck in Mississauga. My timeline is as follows:-

Application received by Mississauga- Feb 7
Sponsor approval and letter for submission of PCC and sch A- March 3
PCC and sch a submitted via web form - March 14
Medical requested- April 11
Meds done- April 19
Meds Passed - April 21

Since then I have called IRCC several times and they always say that there is no remark on the file saying the the sch A and PCC are received. For safe side I again uploaded the PCC and sch A last week. It seems they have not looked at my file at all. My ECAS also still shows as "Application Received" Don't know when my file be transferred. My visa office is New Delhi.

Anyone else in similar situation. Any guidance of what can be done?

Your help is much appreciated.

Hello everyone! I come with good news..

Called two weeks ago asking what the hold up was in Mississauga, The woman on the phone basically said, "no idea. I should sent a note to nudge them into sending it off."
Never got any kind of response
Called today and asked if there was a response to the note and he said that there was, 2 days after the woman sent it, saying that, "yes, this application is in the process of being transferred to Ottawa."
The man on the phone told me that there is a huge backlog right now in the Mississauga 'back office' where they apparently transfer applications. So this is where the hold up was.
I did confirm with him though that my application is in the process of being sent to Ottawa. Which we had no idea before today that it would be sent to Ottawa. So I feel like I can now chance my VO to Ottawa <3
hopefully all of you who are in the same situation are in it for the same reasons.
It's now been about a week and a half since they responded to the note. so hopefully we get some form of AOR2 sooner than later.

Half tempted to email Ottawa Vo to see if they've received it. more scared to contact them though over the people at CIC on the phone.

Today I a Got medical request on GCkey. The below line is showing there.

"We have requested a medical exam, check below message for more details"

But neither there is any message nor any email. Confused!!

Hi,

We got an update too. It says: "Review of additional documents | We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details."
But no messages, and no documents are actually requested when we go in :)

Also I saw that there was a maintenance in the website early this morning. Not sure if thats the reason.

Will wait and see......
