I will try to call next Monday, it is just worrisome.

Please, I encourage all other people in the forum to let me know their situation.

Cheers,

Gustavo

As far as calling goes, do you know the number? and which department to connect to?
We tried calling yesterday, just cause ours has been in "checking eligibility" for so long, we wanted to call in to check on it.
when we did, we basically got hung up on cause they're having too many people call.

Mason, not sure if you're applying from outisde Canada (if so, which number do you call to enquire information?), but it was the same for us when we tried calling (from outside Canada).

First thing is that as I mentioned above wihitn the automated instructions it states outland applicants shouldn;t be calling IRCC, but contact them through the online form instead (which I find annoying).

Second thing is, we still navigated through and reached the stage when you're awaiting a rep to pick up the phone, but it gave as an estimated time of.. 40 minutes. After 5 minutes or so on the line, the waiting time even increased, so we gave up. My partner tried calling a couple of weeks ago, and he waited all the time just for the line to simply cut off due to high number of callers. Not sure what's the deal there.

Hello all,

I submitted my application on March 24,2017.
CIC received it on March 28. Waiting for AOR and medical/pcc/schedule A request. Hoping to receive it by April 2nd week

Cheers

Welcome to the group, but I really think you should join the March Outland group. This one might not be helpful

Best of luck

Hey guys.

I got a message today from IRCC. I dont really understand why and how to solve this.

They are requesting RCMP Criminal Record check. "If your residence period in Canada has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide a certified criminal record check. Please provide RCMP criminal record check with fingerprints."

Well I never lived in Canada and never had residency, only two terms under a student visa and several vacations as a visitor. Im a German citizen applying outland being sponsored by my Canadian wife.

How would I even be able to obtain this Record Check? Can I go to my local police and ask them to collect my fingerprints? They request these fingerprints within the next 30 days which is not the easiest to be done.

Anyone any ideas what my options are?

We did outland as well, where do I find this online form? I didn't see an option for anything like it in ECAS.
do you think you could post the number your partner was trying?
We had no luck yesterday, although I'd still rather call IRCC since we haven't received AOR2, and that means it hasn't beens ent out. or atleast they haven't told us they've received it.

My ECAS has shown this since my spouse received Sponsor Approval March 2nd.

should we be worried?

Well, you mentioned that you were in Canada for two terms. Is the total over 6 months?

If so, here is where to start: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/criminal-record-and-vulnerable-sector-checks

Hope this helps

I don't think this is from ECAS, this is from MyCIC if I am not wrong. MyCIC shows exactly the same process/steps not even a word change and I am not worried about this status as it looks normal. But my concern is our ECAS still shows Application received since Feb 9th, no other lines added in there and I am wondering why it hasn't been changed to In progress/In process when MyCIC shows In progress. Which one do we follow? I didn't even receive an update from IRCC whether they have transferred our App to Local VO or not.

Ecas using Sponsor UCI shows 'In Process' --> 'We received your application...'
Ecas using PA's UCI shows 'In process' and two lines in it!

Cheers

Okay finally there's a bit of change in PA's ECAS. They added second line,

1. We received your application for permanent residence on February 9, 2017.
2. Medical results have been received.

Worried about what? Nothing to worry about. This looks normal. Btw, this is not ECAS, this is myCIC.

...what is ECAS?
what's the difference?

Feb 10 applicant here. I just received an email saying the my app is being returned due to missing documents. However, I am sure that those docs were included first hand and I don't why they are returning the app.

Im a stupid stupid man. I totally over-read the section about the more than 6 months part in the police certificate guide. What a disaster. Now I have to find someone to take my fingerprints and then sent them to an accredited company asap. 30 days is a tough limit for that.
