We received the File Transfer email but no AOR2 yet
Submitted Schedule A and PCC but no medical :(

You guys with 150 and 180 page >:(

I know! The 150-180 pages is bad... I didn't see where it said only a certain amount of pages. we thought that was only for photos.
but like I said, our's was so organized that if they didn't want to read it/ look at it. they didn't have to. or just look at a few pages of it. we figured we'd rather send it in and have them throw it away vs. them ask for it later.

Hi Joe,

We received a message from CIC basically telling me I can sponsor my common law partner. The message says they will send correspondence to my partner in the next five business days. It's been 8 days and we haven't received any message from CIC. I called them yesterday and they told me to wait for that email. Is this normal?

Cheers,

Gustavo

Yup! 11 days and still waiting :)

On the IRCC webform, I uploaded my case specific technical issue (that I didn't get a request to upload schedule a in my CIC account even though they requested it) and attached upload schedule A and PCC as pdf on March 20. I called them today (March 28) and they received my Schedule A and police certificate and the request for a medical should me made within a day or so. I am still having issues with my CIC account and he told me there is no consequences to not having your application linked or a faulty CIC account. You will still receive all the communication via mail or email. Linking your application just speeds things up.

Thanks. Will wait for couple of days and try doing this.

Mason, we organized the application well too and if they like to skip the chat logs it's completely fine. We labelled all the envelopes and they could get to any section in a few seconds as per the checklist. I am pretty sure we will get million likes I put that on YouTube :P lol kidding, but I am just saying it's very well organized. We thought the same, we do not want IRCC/CIC to come back and ask for more documents rather we could send all of them (All relevant docs) at the first place.

When did you or PA did medicals if you don't mind me asking? My wife did medicals a week ago and there's no word from CIC as of now. ECAS still shows reviewing medical results or something.

It's me, the PA, I did it last October. I sent in the results that the Doctor mailed to me and told me to send to them anyways since we were planning for the old application beforehand. So.. I already had that done as well as my police background checks. We send those in too with a completed Schd A background document.

Was just looking over the SA approval letter my spouse was sent..

is this our AOR2? I saw someone send a description of it..
but we thought it was our SA..

It reads.

"Dear Sir/Madam,

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on
behalf of MEEEEEEEEEEEE and family (if applicable).

We are pleased to inform that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor"

Is this SA/AOR2?

If not... wth does AOR2 say?

It's SA. Congratulations! :-) AOR2 is an Acknowledgement of Receipt from the PAs visa office confirming that they already received his/her application.

See, I thought we already got that, but it was our AOR1?

I'm so confused.

First letter we received was my spouse, the Canadian, saying:
"Dear spouse, the confirms your application to sponsor a member of the family class has been received by the CIC on 2017,02,06"

Then I got a letter an hour later saying
"Hi Mason, link your application."

Then a couple days later we got SA approval.

So when should the visa office be getting our application? it's been quite a few days now since sponsor approval :/

We got an email 10 days after SA saying that the application has been sent to the VO in Bucharest.

Has anybody heard anything about the Bucharest VO whether they are fast at processing paperwork like New Delhi :) ?

Hi Everyone,

I submitted the application on Feb 23 and till now I have not received any communication from Mississauga office.

I am also not able to check my ECAS for both PA and Sponsor. It just says "Details not found."

Am i missing something?

Bro I already checked New Delhi VO (2015, 2016 and 2017) timelines and I know exactly what you're talking about. I know you're being sarcastic that's why I was LOL! Hahaha. NDVO is one of the slowest VO in this entire world :P lol I guess it's cause of high volume of applications, I can't think of any other reason.
