Did you guys send Notice of assessment for the year 2016 too?

We sent the regular NoA for 2015 as we did not file taxes yet for 2016 and IRCC probably expects that you have not filed it yet.
Unless your 2016 income is a lot higher than 2015 and you want to show them that you are in a better situation than last year.

Hey all, just joined the thread. New to the forum.

I'm from Toronto, Ontario and I filed my wife's application on March 10th to the Mississauga office. They received it on March 13th. I still haven't received any confirmation from their side so I'm assuming it takes a while before they open your file and send you a UCI number or even just a confirmation. How long did it take everyone else to receive confirmation of receipt?

anybody waiting for the AOR1 ,,,,i re-submitted my file on feb 23. After calling cic they are telling me to wait for 2 more week.............I have no idea...wt to do at this point except waiting , keep checking my email and stressing out my self.....

Was it confirmed delivered on the 23rd by postal service?
How many times have you called? I hear it depends on the officer you get to how much help you receive.

yep it was delivered....i checked the tracking system.I called 5 times and gets the same answer.

I hope they don't return my application this time.... Already wasted two months now..

Hello guys i just got a message from VO Rome that states..To send proof of medical examination and the original Police Certificate...Why they requested the original?And they also said to send it via Courier or Post and no instructiones were given to upload on My cic account.It was also on my cic account requested...My question is to sent them Via courier or post or with both of options?

Perhaps they want to see the physical copy of your police certificate because the scanned version you provided wasn't clear / could have been tampered with?
Send it by a method which gives you confirmation on delivery, this will give you piece of mind to at least know they have received it.

Have faith you have fixed the things they wanted you to address the first time around.
The process takes some time and is very stressful, all you can do is wait.

At times I have promised myself I wouldn't check the forum, the spreadsheet, ecas or cic for a while and try to put the application to the back of my mind, but it's very difficult.

Got SA yesterday , but still worried about what ECAS says, its states they send me corrspondence March 11, but didnt get ang message in mycic account.

In my AOR1 letter they mentioned that they might ask for the original PCC at a later date. Am guessing it is verify that it is authentic and not tampered with like Wallace said!

No i just scanned the original and sent that via my cic...Why it has to be tampered as i dont have criminal records ....Now do i have to send the same or to sent the new PCC that i just got?Or to send both the old and the new?

I would send both and keep copies for your own record.

Great! I see that your application seems to be progressing really well too.

We actually submitted schedule A, police certs etc upfront with the application after getting some assurance from the CIC helpline before we submitted the application that "I don't see why they wouldn't" process it if we included them with the application package.

On a related note, is it possible if we get the medical done now, even before the request comes in? Or is there some specific document/number that the PA has to present during the medical for it to be submitted the right way? From the spreadsheet I see a good number of us that completed the medical even before submitting the application. It is very tempting to get the medical done in advance so I can send the results immediately after we get the request.

We started the process before the changes in mid December. As it happened, the medical was on Dec 15th. It wasn't an issue. CIC got our app Feb 8th and by late Feb, our app updated to say the medical was passed.

We too sent the regular NoA only for 2015 but the package was returned yesterday. This is what was highlighted in the returned form. Do you see any other reason?

Many of us applied before tax season started. I attached 2016 pay stubs in addition to the letter of employment that states my annual salary.
