Hi,

Should the PA or Sponsor receive contact that application has been forwarded to VISA office for further processing?

I (Sponsor) received SA, but in the letter it did not state that the application has been forwarded, but only I was SA...

I guess it depends what order things happen in.
Many of the applicants in the spreadsheet receive SA before medical.

Requested Schedule A and Police Certificates
Requested Medical
Received SA

- Medical will be done Monday

When did you receive SA? What does it say on your ecas or MyCIC?

On ECAS, if you see the line (on PA's side) that says, "We started processing XYZ application on MM/DD/YYYY.", this means that PA's file is already at the visa office.

On MyCIC, Review of Eligibility should say, "We are reviewing your eligibility.... and so forth".

For whatever reason CIC has, not all receives AOR2.

Ya I was under the impression they would wait until they receive results of my wife's medical. Makes sense for them to have Schedule A, Police Certificates and medical before forwarding on. Just was wondering because (and please correct me if I am wrong) I thought I have read others applications being forwarded without having all uploaded that we have been requested for.

Only received SA on the 15th so only been a couple days, but been told that when others received SA it also mentioned there application had been forwarded, but mine only said I'd been SA. Maybe those provided Medical upfront...

Hey Db I have same situation here. I received SA letter but they requested for Sched A, PCC and Medicals before they forward the file to local VO.

I have not received a request to upload Schedule A or a police certificate. I have had them completed for 2 weeks at this point. I know they may not send the request right away but it's been over a week since the AOR 1. Should I be worried? try to call CIC? Am I missing something?

Recieved on 17 FEB 2017, Its been a month and I have not heard anything yet.
has anyone recieved any text messages through the newly introduced service?
Mine and my wife's email address is on file but haven't recieved any thing yet. though i have made a GC Key but have not linked the application because haven't heard anything yet. (Just Curious making the GC key account wont get any messages in there yet untill i attach the file number right?)

You should call and ask about your file. Other members who didn't get any email like yourself have gotten their application number after calling in.

Also I am currently outside of Canada. i guess i will have to fillout a web form. but what reference do i give them? for them to locate my file?
any help will be greatly appreciated.

Still no SA email for me.

I did check my ECAS today and in the "Sponsor Applicant" it says "decision made" so I'm hopeful!

We did the medical in Dec (booked it before the Dec 15th changes) so they had the medical information as passed when I got the AOR1 (March 2nd). And they requested the Schedule A and criminal checks on March 5th and we submitted on the 5th. So, hopefully I get the SA email soon and it indicates which visa office it is being sent to.
