Hey folks.

Maybe a not so random question. My wife received an email recently that had another letter from CIC in it. In that it stated that our application was sent to CPC-Ottawa. This got me confused because I expected our application to be sent to Vienna since im from Germany.
Anyone has some insights on situations like that?

Hi,

Update: my wife (PA) just received a message in here CIC account to upload Schedule A and Police Certificate by April 2 2017 (30 days). This is great and will upload ASAP.

Although, couple quick questions:

1. It stated to provide Police Certifictes (Multiple). What does this mean when it states "Multiple"? We have only lived in Sweden the last 6 consecutive years.

2. I have yet to receive SA. Will this come once we upload these documents or shall I expect this in my email shortly?

I would suggest call CIC 613.. number and talk to the agent about your file. Have you sent it with registered mail ? Give them your fees receipt number for them to locate your file. In my case I did not receive any email but the file is already in process.

I tried calling 1-613-944-4000 and it just forwards to the 1-888-242-2100 number. I did speak to the agent and gave them my receipt number; the agent informed me that the file was returned on Feb 28th because "IMM5532 was missing or Incomplete).

Its definitely not missing as I remember putting it in the package which means its incomplete. Will only know whats wrong once I receive it in the mail. Seems like I'm going to have to be part of the March Applicants.

A question:

Schedule A form is "SIGNED" by PA. I am my wife's sponsor and representative. I filled in Schedule A with her details. will I be able to upload that for her using her credentials, or is that a mistake somehow?

Hi there,
Schedule A is already on PDF soft copy (VALIDATED), the PA would electronically sign it by typing their name and date.
Police clearance is on PDF too, scan and upload it. IRCC stated that they might ask for the original at a later date.

Hi All,

My application to sponsor my wife was received on Feb 7. Today it shows in my ECAS as "Decision Made" (No SA email as yet). However, till now my wife has not yet received email to link the application also I tried linking it but was not successful. Any idea if this email to link would come with my SA email or otherwise. Please advise.

Do you see a name or signature of the person who received your app at Mississauga ? Try to call them again and ask them to find the physical file with the help of your payment receipt, date of package arrival. The file cannot go anywhere on its own, it has to be there. Maybe they have returned it for incompleteness. Which address did you provide ?

Please refer to guidelines of formating your application package, CIC usually not return the whole package just because ONE form is missing. Instead if the whole application is un organized or poorly compiled with couple of missing docs or signature.
