Ya I mean by the sounds of it our situations are a slam dunk, but just confused on not yet receiving SA and wanting to be so once we land on April 3.

I got my Swedish PR in 2 weeks back in 2012!!!!! Little paperwork, written test to prove our relationship was genuine and BOOM PR just like that. Was a hell of a lot cheaper and so, so, so much less stressful...

Good, I guess Canada has a lot more applications to process with a relatively lower staff and budget than Sweden. So it is natural they would do all of this with a lightning speed. :o

Now I am stuck with the dilemma of planning my move with few months as oppose to a longer period as my initial guess was :)

Well good luck and hope we both receive SA shortly. My guess is it will be soon. I will be sure to update and be great if you could as well...

While I was waiting and trying to link the application so many times and checked my email a few minutes ago and noticed I got SA :)

The letter from CIC (CPC Mississauga) says "We are pleased to inform that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor" Good news that SA has been received but I still can't link this damn application. It's really frustrating that I couldn't link the app till now so I asked my spouse (PA) to give it a try.

I'll go ahead and update the spreadsheet now. Good luck for everyone out there waiting for SA or AOR1.

This is exactly my confusion!

Congrats on SA and good luck on linking.

We received AOR1, APP is linked with Schedule A, Police Certificates and Medical requested, but no SA...haha

Very strange, but nothing surprises me from reading many posts on this forum

Just started a Whatsapp group for Feb/Mar applicants, please PM me your whatsapp number to join

Thanks and good luck on SA. I hope you'll receive your SA soon :)

I have a question regarding schedule A. When they asked about the police cert where did they want you to send it? A scanned copy? Because im residing right now where police cert will.not be handed to the one who requested it nor they will send it to an embassy or office you choose.

Hello all!

We submitted our application on February 6th, 2017 (received on the 9th - text message confirmation) however, we haven't received an AOR yet! I looked at the spreadsheet for this group and see there are still some who submitted their applications around the same time as us, and have not yet received heir AORs either. Should I be expecting our application to be returned or should I continue waiting?

I'm freaking out just a little bit! :P

Thanks!!!

Mine was received on the 10th. Nothing yet!

That's a relief to hear there's someone else in the same situation! Thanks :)

My application was received on Feb 15th 2016. I want to call CIC and findout the status of my application as I haven't received any communication from them. The system asks for the Application number/UCI however I don't have that but I do have the payment receipt number. Can anyone tell me how to bypass the system that asks for the application number and get to an agent.

Great, Congrats!
I thought they don't approve. What reason did you provide and for how many months is it approved?

My brother is marrying in May so that was the reason. Approved for 10 years.

Received an e-mail today from CIC saying acknowledging they received my wifes application to sponsor me on 2017/02/23.

I'm assuming that is our AOR1 ?

I updated the spreadsheet assuming that it was.

I'm still unable to link the application using the UCI and Application No they have given us. I made four attempts to do so today.

Two time using me as the applicant and my passport info, with both 1 total applicant and 2 total applicants at the bottom. Then another two times using my wife as the applicant and her passport info, with both 1 and 2 total applicants at the bottom.

Am I doing something wrong?

Indeed it is AOR 1.
Check Feb spreadsheet and go to the linking tab where you will find the way to link your account.
