Mine passed November 2016 and my BGC hasn't started yet. Though, I've read from multiple threads that BGC may not be updated until you get the PPR. Sometimes when it's updated to BGC i process, PPR is sent the same day. But that was just from the trend I'm seeing. Still case to case basis..That is not slow. My wife passed medicals on June 15. My VO is Accra, GhanaWe are on the same boat.
My wife completed her medical 5 weeks ago, MyCIC shows that medical has passed 1 day after completion and nothing since!!!
Which VO is your application at?
Your timeline is much the same as ours. Medicals also done mid-July, passed, and no change since. Same visa office too. Maybe, like @lazytitan said, they might not change it until we're done everything? Praying for quick results anywayApplication received Feb 3

To confuse matters after my ecas changed to 'Decision Made' my wife (sponsor) received an email saying...Hi all, I haven't been here in a while but thought I'd update you on my timeline.
The status on my ecas changed on Friday to 'Decision Made' though I haven't received a message on mycic yet.
My application has been languishing in Mississauga without any real update since May, I hope the news is positive.
In the past few weeks I have been offered a job in Vancouver, the company have chosen to pursue a LMIA work permit as the timeline for my spousal residency was unreliable.
My timeline looks like this...
-10th Feb - Application received
-2nd March - AOR1
-7th March - Medical requested
-9th March - Police certificates/schedule A requested and provided
-16th March - Medical passed
-20th March - SA
-28th April - AOR2 (Ottawa)
-24th May - Request for documents concerning proof of my wife's intention to reside in Canada, promptly provided
-17th July- Sent an email to the processing centre in Ottawa to be told my application is in Mississauga (did it ever leave?)
-25th August ecas status 'Decision Made'
That's SA (Sponsor Approval) And file trAnsfer email that the application will be processed to your responsible VO.To confuse matters after my ecas changed to 'Decision Made' my wife (sponsor) received an email saying...
"This message is being sent to confirm that the Application for Permanent Residence for your
relative(s) will be processed at CPC Mississauga."
I'm hoping that's just COPR?
