Morning all - we received a request from the Sydney office asking for a competed "CONSENT TO DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION (NZ) Form" but there is no indication on whether this can be emailed back or should be couriered? Anyone have any experience with this or thoughts on whether we should reply to the email AND send via courier?

Thanks!

That's good to know, we are trying to look at is as a positive. I thought about ordering the notes, but there's no way I'd get them back in time. I'm assuming that the point of the interview is to determine that the relationship is genuine, as in the email they asked about more pictures, proof of cohabitation etc etc. Kinda hard to prove that when my husband can't work yet, can't contribute to the bills etc. So his name is not on mortgage, car etc. All we have is a joint bank account. Not at all worried about the genuine relationship part, but the red flag in our case is that we only got married last October, and have been together about a year. So that's probably why they want the interview.

At least they gave us a month for him to get back there for the interview and not three days. So yes, we are trying to look at it as a formality only. But who knows. Hopefully they do give copr on the same day after the interview....its definitely going to be a month of stress, however at least they are moving on it quickly. We submitted Feb 23rd, so if they do give COPR in June, that will be less than 4 months, start to finish.

I wish you the best of luck!! Try to take with you as much proof as you can of outings and/or family events. Sending you good vibes towards you and your husband, hopefully they give him CoPR right after the interview.

PPR Received today at 1:30 am EST ;D ;D ;D

12th Feb 2016 applicant
NDVO
DM on 8th or 9th May 2016

This is God speed and we are extremely happy and joyful.

My wife is already in Canada on Visitor Visa and luckily they have given option of sending passport to Ottawa for stamping. Just dispatched her passport, 2 photos and the passport request letter along with an Xpressport envelope to Ottawa, should reach them by tomorrow.

Once we receive her stamped passport, can we go to a local office for her landing formalities or would need to go on a border crossing only?

If we have to go to the Niagara Falls border crossing, can I (Applicant's spouse who is already a PR) accompany my wife during the flag-poling process?

Anyone who has either got their landing formality done within a local office or flag-poling at the border, kindly share your experiences.

Cheers to everyone receiving DM and PPR :D

Congrats to you three unique_username, canadafsw2015, Nrkulus!!! ;D

Got off the phone with the call center and they said that a mistake was made in my SA letter and that my file is being processed in Warsaw and not CPC-M (as was indicated in the SA letter).

At least one good thing came out of ordering my notes ;D

Now I know it is Warsaw 8)

If your spouse is already inland on a visa, I recommend you go to the border crossing as I hear the office is painful and takes time to book an appointment.. I was an OUTLAND applicant living in Canada and i crossed the land border with my Canadian wife and completed all formalities there.. was in and out within 15 minutes.. no questions asked, i signed some documents, smiled, shook hands and walked out a resident..

Was your wife allowed to accompany you during this entire process of your landing formalities at the border? Did you'll flag pole?

Another person from Warsaw who applied after me got interview request already. We can only keep our thumbs pressed for the rest of us (regardless of the VO) who are patiently waiting to hear great news.

That's a good thing! My timeline is about a week behind yours, so if my husband is being called for an interview and that is the last step since they have all the medicals, police clearances etc, then you should be receiving DM soon! Fingers crossed, Warsaw seems to be fast.

Looks like you should be done soon!

No word from SVO yet, but when there is I hope it's PPR and not Interview Request.

I haven't heard from Bogota VO either, in fact none of the applicants since July 2015 have heard from them since the beginning of April. :'(
