Hello everyone,
Has anyone ordered their GCMS Notes? If someone has, did it provide any information that let's you know if they are actually working on your file? I am thinking of ordering them but I've noticed that no one (different people who applied on other months) from Bogota VO have heard anything about their cases, so I don't know if I should just wait a couple of weeks or maybe whenever my husband get back to Canada which will be in July.

Congrats to those who received their AOR2, DM and CoPR.

To jwnmm and canaussie87, wish you the best of luck in this new chapter of your life and everything that is ahead of you! May the landing be as easy as possible. Please keep us posted about how the landing was.

;D

I got home last night and checked the mail and BAMMM... CoPR :)

I'm landing tonight - has anyone got any tips?

The printing of the documents is dodgy though - looks like the printer was lacking ink or something lol pretty poor.. on the actual CoPR page they assigned me a UCI of my 1st ever working visa in Canada so my last entry in to canada says June 17 2013 lol I've had 2 WPs since with 2 different UCIs and many other landing points.... whattteeevveeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... i'll deal with it at the border.. i double checked my application and i never gave that UCI and I was very sure that my last border entry was accurate as of November 29 2015..

Also in terms of a timeline -

DM was made April 22nd - received mail May 4th.. the CoPR is dated April 28th.. so basically, from the point of DM, it took them 6 days to print then a week to post..

Glad to hear it finally arrived :)

Best of luck to you and your family!

A massive shoutout to all on this forum - the family is strong here and we all have each others backs!! Great little community formed.

Not sure if you answered this already canaussie87, where were you waiting for the Copr to be mailed to? Canada? US? Which province? I'm in AB waiting for the letter.

Hello folks:
Is ppr without descision made on Ecas a probleme?

G'day everyone!! I've landed as of last night at the Peace Arch border in BC.

Just wanted to share the experience quickly:

- got to the US border, told them I was flag poling at the entry, got sent inside to get a literal piece of paper that said "FLAG POLING" lol
- they let me through the exit to get back into Canada
- Got to the Canadian entry - told the guy i was simply flagpoling and landing with residency.. he asked me all sorts of stupid questions.. "have you got weapons.. what have you purchased.. do you have any alcohol.. do you have any duty free to claim.." i guess formality, but geez - i told him I was flagpoling so what COULD i have possibly done between the entry to US and the entry to Canada
- went inside, gave them my paper work, they took it away, i signed and initialed the details on the CoPR letter and went away to wait for them to process it
- 5-10mins later, they called me up and said "Congratulations and welcome to Canada as Permanent Resident"

Very simple and easy - no questions asked or interviews requested..

THANKS TO EVERYONE AGAIN!!

Don't see how this could be a problem. ECAS is notorious for being unreliable - it is possible they did not have a chance to update it.

Some VO's request passports before DM. However, I am not familiar with Beruit VO.

I love your story. Thanks for sharing and congrats!

Landed today :D Windsor tunnel border.

Very simple and straight-forward, since I said I had no belongings to come later they didn't even look at my b4 or the detailed list I made. Better safe than sorry I guess :)

Decision made .. Not sure what exactly it means.. I m totally suprised
