Sorry i think i confused everyone... :) My husband is the sponsor => no SA email yet. I am the PR applicant => with AOR2 in ECAS (started processing on April 20, 2016). :) :) Had been active on this thread checking more than 3x a day just to have a clue what is happening with everyone. :D

If Applicant side says "In Process" but only two lines appear
1 We received your application for permanent residence on XXX
2 Medical results have been received.
Does does mean we are still waiting for AOR 2, or is this it?

Thanks!

Wait for a week or so, you will receive this line.. "we started processing application......." and it will be #2. The medical received moved to number 3. That's what happened to me. ECAS changed to in process on April 17 (when i checked) with 2 lines, then on April 24 (when i checked), there is the AOR2 "we started processing xxxx....."

Wow, same thing happened to us.
No email with SA for the last 3 weeks but PA side is in progress with 3 lines. ::)

The same happened to me.. my SA was mailed to us instead of email.. keep checking your mail regularly..

I was seriously hoping that our application would have been sent to our home country's VO (Warsaw) - as it is one of the fastest in Europe.

Unfortunately, we had our file transfer to CPC-Mississauga instead. Now I can only hope that it is just as quick, if not, faster :)

I sent in our application about a week after yours - Mississauga and then it got sent to Warsaw. But I think yours is processing quicker than mine as it seems it took a bit longer to get the third line on the PA side - they started processing April 12th. Mind you it seems that processing times likely depend on each individual application, no matter the VO office, and how fast they process. Lots of variations per file.

As for visitor visa expiring for my husband, the lawyer agreed that the best way to go is to apply for a second extension, since its likely that we will hear more while under implied status.

Another couple of points for anyone else in a similar situation - the CIC website says apply 30 days before the tourist visa expires for an extension. The lawyer on the other hand, said doing it two weeks before is fine, then sending it by courier to Vegreville. As long as its in their hands before the visa expires.

Also, I am using an immigration lawyer who's main focus is family class. He told me that the entire process has sped up considerably since December, so it should move quicker in general, no matter the VO. They are trying to distribute cases to alternative offices if certain ones are busier than others.

Hopefully that helps.

On the PA side only had two lines one says recieved application and the 2nd line says started processing your application. but no 3rd line about medical recieved?

Hi Guys, i have been reading on this site for many years now. Today i thought i should also join the party. so here i am
I have a very disturbing(may be its just me). I was reading the other posts and in this thread and figured that the sponsor and sponsored both get their UCIs.
I am the sponsor, i got mine in AOR1 email. My spouse(sponsored) never got any email even though her PA side with my UCI has 3 lines.
Question - if they do AOR2 by just adding lines(med received, started processing your file) - how does the Sponsored person get UCI.
She never got any email or mail
Thanks for your response guys.

I have the same issue, only lines about app received and app started processing for my wife. No mention of medical results received. I sent LVO an email regarding possible misplacement of medical e receipt. I am sure that I included it with the application. But now I am relaxed because they have it in the email as well.

Don't worry there are a few others who don't have that "medical results" line on the PA side.

Glad you decided to go about going through the second extension. I hope that you get your PR status before they make a decision on the extension.

I would even be as bold as to say that application processing has sped up since November 2015.

;)

Ok, they changed my permanent resident application status to "Decision Made" today. :o
This seems super-fast... the application was filed February 4; my wife got SA on March 29 and AOR2 about a week later. (Ottawa visa office)

However, when I click "Decision made," I'm still seeing the same 3 lines:

1. We received xxxxx's application for permanent residence on February 4, 2016.
2. We started processing xxxxx's application on April 8, 2016.
3. Medical results have been received.

Should there be an additional line indicating that the decision was made? I am almost worried it was an error, since it was so quick!

It is not necessary for them to add anything after this.

All you have left to do is wait for your CoPR to come in the mail :)

Wow! Hopefully it's a CoPR and not a rejection letter...

In any case, this seems to bode well for other Ottawa applicants... this VO has been going at lightning speed lately!

You wouldn't get a rejection without first having had an interview :)
