Still haven't received my AOR2 yet (email or on ECAS).. Could that mean something is missing/incorrect on the PA side of the application? Or was that all checked as well before AOR1 was received? According to the spreadsheet others from Ottawa have also not received their AOR2 yet. Wondering if I should give them a call after today if there hasn't been any email/update on ECAS.

So, this is where I am currently.

Sponsorship Application Status: In Process
1) We received your application to sponsor XXXX on February 16, 2016.
2) We started processing your application on March 18, 2016.

Permanent Residence Application Status: In Process
1) We received XXXX's application for permanent residence on February 16, 2016.
2) Medical results have been received.

On March 24th we received SA via email:

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in CPC-Ottawa for further processing.

A few questions. Why isn't SA showing up in the Sponsor timeline when we received an email to confirm sponsorship was approved? Also, I didn't receive AOR2. Is that because they haven't received my application at the VO yet and it's still in transit? How long does it normally take them to figure out if there are documents missing?

I'm in much the same situation as you. My ECAS online shows my sponsorship as "In Process" and hasn't updated, though I've received the email that I was approved. From what I've read on these forums ECAS is pretty unreliable.
I'm also still waiting on AOR2 from Ottawa. Here's my timeline if it helps you out at all:

Application sent: Feb 11 2016
AOR received: March 18 2016
SA received: March 22 2016

I had the same question. App forwarded to VO 22/march. Still no aor nor ecas update

just now i got email from CIC confirming SA. File is now transferred to New Delhi.

Congrats! I also just received my SA email. My file is now transferred to Singapore.

Woot! finally receive my SA email today, after 57 days. I did filled the contact form yesterday letting them know it was past the posted processing time for SA, I'm sure it played no impact as the contact form say it take 10 day to process.

You might have to call several times to get through. Also calling at 8-9am is the best time.

AOR was march 15h. It was 21 long days between AOR and SA.

hi, guys, i am the sponsor and now working on my tax return for 2015 and my accountant asked for my wife's income, which she said the income information should be on the application documents.

I checked all the documents which i made a copy, but could not find that information. Do you guys remember the income information of the applicant is required in any documents?

Income is not required from the applicant for family sponsorship.. You could ask your wife what her income was for 2015?
