Does anyone have any idea how long I can expect it to take for my application to process (assuming there's no issues)? There's a lot of threads about US outland applicants but there are quite a lot of pages to read through.

It always depends on the VO.

I haven't received AOR2 yet (nor a 3rd line to PA), and my file stayed in Mississauga (to give you an idea).

Hey Guys, I am just curious, you know how CIC changed the way they process applications in 2016.
The way I understand it, Vo's that aren't as busy and used to have super fast procesing times now work applications from overloaded Vo's.
That being said, I know Lima used to be only 7 months, it was one of the fastest.
I am just wondering if anyone NOT from Lima got sent to that VO
We are trying to figure out if maybe they got slower due to more work, or if we can still count with the same speed in processing as last year.

My application was not sent to the Warsaw VO, but it was kept in Mississauga.

We got our aor1 on March 23, until now we haven't received any email for SA.
Our Sponsor application status remains unchanged in ECAS, saying they started processing on March 22nd. Same for Applicant status, saying the. application was received.
We check in Manila Visa Office where we're expecting our application to be processed, the feedback was that it is still in mississauga. Could there be any issue on our papers? What's the possibility of missing form or info concern aor1? Can we assume our forms are ok since we got aor1?
Just nerve wracking seeing our colour is still in blue in the excel file. Lol

Im in exact same boat. Recieved AOR1 March 24 and Ecas says started processing March 23. No SA email. Very nerve racking.

I don't know about your Visa office, but I know they don't really change the Sponsorship side after the file is transferred. Mine was transferred too and nothing changed on the Sponsorship side, just PR side from now on

I have one inquiry, after the IN PROCESS on the PR side, what do we need to expect?

All emails from VISA OFFICE will be forwarded to the spouse being sponsored? or the Sponsor?
