Hi everyone.

So far, the Minister appears to have kept his promise to speed up processing times. I am going to send an e-mail to CIC expressing my appreciation and I am hoping others join me. I am sure CIC would be happy to get some positive feedback instead of the constant complaints they hear. Let's hope positive reinforcement will lead to even better results.

Why do we get the following message when we open Feb 2016 outland spreadsheet?

"The file is in owner's trash"
"File may be deleted soon"

I can volunteer to host this file if required.

Thank you, I checked today the online site for checking the application. Praying and believing that SA will be given within the end of month or first week of april.

Btw, may I ask, I recently renewed my passport. But I send my old passport which will expire on 0ct of 2016, so last week I recently renewed, do we need to submit the new passport copy, or wait until the Local Visa Office tells us?

Hey Guys i was finally able to login to ECAS

Does someone mind explaining this to me

On one side it says my wifes name (she is the principal applicant) and right after it has two headings one says Sponsorship Application Status and underneath it says In Process. The other one says Permanent Resident Application Status and underneath it says Application Received.

Any help would be appreciated

Means they are working on the Sponsors files (hence the In Process), and that they received your wifes application (have not yet started to process it).

Hi All,
I just have a question as to upgrading schedule A personal history. We submitted the documents for sponsor application but I just realized that we need to upgrade the personal history page because my husband had several internship programs during his university studies. So, during these internships he had to travel to different places in our country and live near that company during his term there. In my application, we didn't mention this. We only mentioned that he was studying at the university during the four years. Can I still call the embassy and upgrade the information?

Just a general question. Even though I received SA last Thursday, my online status is still in progress, and my wife (applicant) Application Received.

Do they actually change sponsor's status to "SA" or just IN PROGRESS?

same situation with me as well , i think posting this question on december / january forum would be a better option as they would have already been through that phase.

i will post this question in dec/jan forum if any reply from them , will paste it here , just so every one here can be aware as well.
